Its Great!
The media could not be loaded. Jun 1, 2022- Still works spectacularly. I've seen someone say this didn't have a headphone jack. It actually has an auxiliary port, which I'm sure allows you to plug in old style headphones. I haven't had an issue with my radio yet. It also has a spot where you can put in those huge batteries that I can never find in stores, the C size ones. Also, if you desperately need Bluetooth connectivity Amazon makes those Bluetooth transmitters. I bought one for a completely different purpose and it works just fine with this radio. I'm still very satisfied with this purchase!Dec 10, 2020- This is my first small radio. I normally have huge, bulky, clunky stereos but I wanted a nice looking compact radio. This was the first one I laid eyes on and fell in love with. The sound is clear when you find the station you want. Not too much loud static when changing stations. Very well made. The box it came in was damaged on the corner but the radio was not affected in any way. This radio is a steal! Such a good deal for so cheap!

Jensen MCR-250
Not Even a Star, but could NOT TAKE IT AWAY. ALL DESCRIBED FOLLOWING IS TRUEEXCEPT PLAYER DID NOT WORKWILL RETURN. BAD NEWS. SORRYHandy. Old School Jensen Radio/AM-FM, and Cassette Player and Recorder. Great item.I would like it had Headphone out. But it does not bother. Ideal for the outdoors as well for indoor. Runs on Battery and AC.Sound does not hace bass presence, but if You intend to hear at mid and low volume it will do the job, and very good.

Definition of Budget... but Not Bad
You know what you're getting with this price point. That said, it sounds decent and is sturdy enough for what it costs. You could do worse for an entry-level player, and it's an affordable way of testing the cassette waters.

High and tight.
Despite the lack of reviews, I bit the bullet and purchased because I wanted a solid cassette player and this looked promising. So far the MCR-250 has lived up to my expectations. I haven’t purchased or played a cassette player in over a decade. I have nothing similar to compare the quality of sound to, but I personally think it sounds great. The overall feel is sturdy. It doesn’t have a cheap gimmick vibe like some of those retro boom box players that are becoming popular. The radio worked well and I was able to get a clear signal without messing with the antenna, so that was a plus.A few minor cons, you will need 6 C batteries (not 4 as advertised) if you don’t wanna plug it into an outlet. The fast forward and rewind buttons are labeled with opposite direction arrows. Not sure if that’s normal but I had to make sure they were functioning correctly, which they were.Overall I’m very satisfied with this purchase and the price. I would highly recommend.

Eaasy to use
I bought this for my 92 year old mother0in0law because other ones were starting to confuse her. This is basic, easy to use and sounds fine in her AL apartment.
