I would have paid more for a cordless version but I wouldn't buy another one just to have that feature.This lamp works really well. If you're on the fence: get this lamp. It is reliable and sturdy. Read on for more detail if you need it:**I like that the cord can be plugged in to the left or right and the cord is long enough that I don't absolutely need an extension.**The operation is silent - no fan, no buzzing.**The body of the lamp and the cord are both very sturdy, I don't worry about damage when I tote it from closet storage to the counter and back every 2 weeks.**The opening is roomy, In 6 months I've never caught a finger or toe on it.**There is plenty of light; I don't have to rotate my wrist to ensure my thumbnail is getting cured along with the rest of the fingernails.

I decided to purchase this lamp, specifically, because I recognized it as one of the lamps I like at the nail salon; I always have a good, long-lasting manicure when they use this lamp. I just started doing gel and shellac manicures at home, and so far, I'm really happy with my results. This is truly a professional-quality curing light. Just in my personal (non-professional) opinion, it cures polish faster and harder than any of the OPI or Gelish lights that I've used at the salon. Also, it feels less awkward to use, because the light hits all 5 of my nails at once without me having to twist my thumb around. Plus, it's easier to keep clean and sanitary than the others I mentioned, because there's no plate at the bottom of the lamp. You could easily use this light to do a gel or shellac pedicure, if you're willing to deal with the nightmare of removing gel polish from your toes. The lamp itself is really heavy duty - it weighs a lot more than I expected, because it's basically solid metal. It's not some cheap plastic thing that will fall apart after a few uses! Set-up is practically non-existent; you just take the lamp out of the box, plug it in, and select your time setting. My only word of caution with this lamp is to keep your gel/shellac polishes, including base and top coats, FAR AWAY from the lamp. When the light comes on, anything within like a 6-12" radius of the opening is going to get cured. So, to avoid ruining your supplies, keep them completely closed up and behind the lamp when you put your nails in.

Finally I Invested in this lamp a month ago. I did everything the salon did the VERY LAST time I was there- 1.primer no setting this might be some kind of alcohol to dry the nail.2.base3. First coat4. Second coat5.first top off coat6. Second top off coatThen the alcohol to clean the sticky residue.I achieved salon results in that it never chipped nor peeled and lasted up to the time I removed it to eagerly try a new color. 2 weeks.The "ANSELF" looks and acts exactly like the "OPI" my neighborhood Salon uses, probably made by same OPI manufacturers and labeled differently. Keep in mind that led and UVI lamps both emit UV rays, and if that's your concern rub a bit of UVA/UVB sunscreen on hands 20mins before using this lamp, then cool hands, in or under cool water when done. I see the UV gloves for sale to, I might buy those just to be safe.(Don't waste time with those cheap lamps, I have a $20 led dryer, when used the gel would easily peel or just fall off, also thumb finger had to be dried separately.)

I have had this nail UV dryer. It is easy to use, light weight but heavy duty, I would highly recommend this product.

I purchased this for my wife for Mother’s Day and so far it’s worked great . I can’t comment so far on its longevity but as far curing gel nails this is the one to get. I used the 30 second setting and has worked great. I tried the 15 second setting and it worked equally as well, I just baked them a little extra to make sure. The unit is heavy and appears well built. I would make one suggestion to anyone purchasing this. Do not touch the LEDs or the mirror above. Touching the LEDs can possibly shorten the lifespan and caused them to burn out. Also the mirror above is not glass just reflective aluminum and it cannot be cleaned and will leave marks if you touch it. I assume that they chose not to use actual glass because glass can break it overheated and with such high wattage there is the potential.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Do not buy anything from this company. I bought this gel led lamp in June of 2017. By Jan 2018 it quit curing properly.I contacted the company selling it. They first told me to purchase a light bulb that didn’t go to my machine.I sent them a photo of my machine and got this reply, “so sorry, that lamp does not take light bulbs, it works for a set number of hours.” We can give you a $5 coupon to purchase a new light from us.”First, it says that it will work for 50,000 hrs non-stop, 5 yrs.somehow that translates to 7 months, and less than a 1000 hrs?I contacted amazon. Because it was past the 6 months they are not willing to help me. And in fact we’re very rude saying, “if you bought an iPhone and it broke you’d call Apple not us.”They told me to contact the manufacturer.There is no phone number listed anywhere that I can find for this foreign company (both seller and manufacturer.) I sent an email inquiry through their website 4 days ago. No response, not even a generic “we will get back to you.”I would NOT purchase a single thing from this company if I were you.

I love that this is wireless and can be charged it helps to not have wires all over while working. It’s heavy duty I feel like this will last a while
