This is original cartridge for Philips coffee machine. Works good, quality is good. It is more expensive than not original ones but I don't change it every week so it is fine with me

Read the instructions carefully when installing filter! I prefer and recommend you watch a YouTube video on this procedure, much easier to understand. This filter is a perfect fit and although the manual states to change filter and descale every 3 months, every machine and situation is different depending on usage rate and water quality. I get a full year out of my filter and to descale. I believe that my filtered water from my refrigerator helps get more longevity of the filter. There is no substitute for the OEM filter.

Filter only lasted 4 months - maybe around 250 cups. Says on the box 5,000 cups - very misleading - and becomes a very expensive exercise if every 4 months I have to change an expensive filter
