Great purchase
Works as advertised. Much better than my old homemade one I made from a sponge. Makes painting a lot better.

More for 1/48
I build mostly 1/72. Previously I've done this manually and have also use paper stencils. Manually takes a long time but you can make the affect exactly where you want. Paper stencils tend to be more scale specific and easier to bend around curves and wrap around. The problem with paper stencils I have is that they are hard to keep from building up paint even if you are wiping it down regularly. This AK stencil is easy and washable so I fell like it's going to last a long time. since it's plastic the paint doesn't get absorbed like the paper so I did have issues with paint rubbing on the model when doing large areas where I spray for long periods. Patting it down periodically helped. My biggest gripe is that only the top and bottom are used for 1/72. Otherwise the rest makes large spots that are more for Camo at that scale.

Shipping is crazy
$12 for shipping of a $9 item that weights less than an 1oz is a joke. No thanks.
