Keeps overclocked pi 4 cool even under load
Never passed 54C overclocked to 2147mhz, 750mhz gpu and 'over_voltage' to 6 (the highest without violating the warrenty) even under a grinding all night all core full load. Though you'll want a good power supply, like the official pi4 charger, or one that supports quick charging and a short (less than 30cm) cable to meet the demand of the overclocked pi4.Amazon sent my the version with a gap for the ribbon cable, it's well packaged, with thermal paste and pads, but I suggest not using the cpu cores really thin pad, instead deploy a little spare paste on the cpu die which will get better contact but might be messier if you need to access the gpio pins regularly.Had no problem with WiFi or Bluetooth range, but then, I had limited expectation of range.I'd call it the best pi 4 case, but do consider buying the Pi400 which has comparably passive cooling (over a much bigger keyboard shaped case) but, if you want a tiny pretty shiny box for a pi4 which let's you overclock it a lot without having a fan, it's a good one.

Gorgeous and Robust
This case is well machined and provides great thermals through it's passive cooling. The IO lines up perfectly and the steps in the instructions were simple enough to follow. It's all fits together nice and snug.My only complaints are that the case doesn't come with any non-slip rubber feet, so I had to stick my own on, and there isn't any included power button.Overall, love the design, feels very smooth and premium, keeps the Pi cool!

Great performance, easy set up!
I’ve been looking for a passively cooled Raspberry Pi 4 case to use for a little multi-purpose server on my home network (modem is in my living room). I was really pleased when I saw Akasa had made new cases for the pi4, as I have used their pi3 case previously. I picked the Gem Pro because of the sleek design and was very happy with it when it arrived. It has a really sturdy feel to it and has a nice finish to the aluminium. It also did a really good job from a cooling performance point, even on hot days I don't get any issues. It was also incredibly simple to put together, and I liked that they included the thermal paste as I would've found it really annoying to get some just for this project. The pads make great contact to the cpu and chipsets

Cool as a cucumber
This is one of the best passive cases on the market. Used with a heavily overclocked RPi4B it has managed to keep the SBC stable at very reasonable temps.

Impressive passive cooling
I purchased this to replace an actively cooled case whose fan had failed. I'm using the Pi4 as a Nextcloud server, DHCP & DNS server with PiHole, and as a retro gaming machine with RetroPie. This case keeps everything nice and cool without that annoying fan noise! The case has a fair bit of heft and easily takes whatever I've thrown at it. My Pi is overclocked to CPU 2 GHZ / GPU 725 MHz and idles at 33 °C under normal loads and maxed out at 53 °C during an extended CPU torture test. The case is cast aluminium and feels a little sharp at the edges, so consider adding small rubber feet if you plan on placing this on polished surfaces. This is a *very* minor niggle for what is otherwise excellent case.

Quality product
The case is perfectly engineered for a Raspberry Pi 4.When I got this I did not think I would need access to the SD card slot. Turns out I did due to having to re-flash. After a couple of times I used a Dremel to cut out an access hole so that I did not have to keep dismantling it. Luckily I had plenty quality thermal paste. It is a quality case and was therefore easy for me to modify.

Usual AKASA quality and experience.
AKASA just make really good cases and this is no exception. Quite fun to see their usual attention to detail on such a small scale for the Raspberry Pi 8GB, but it works well. Prior to fitting this case I was having instability issues from the Pi, but it has been flawless since this case was fitted. Good product, recommended.
