Worth the money. Better than 3M's Quick Latch model.
I purchased this model and also the 3M Quick Latch model that uses the bayomet style filters. This one is absolutely worth the extra money. I wish I would have just bought this one first and recommended it to my coworkers instead of Quick Latch. It IS worth it. To begin with, It fits much better and is more comfortable. The silicone seal has a bit of a "suspension" designed into it, so the entire mask is alot more forgiving to slight moment and bumping while maintaining a good fit and seal. I'm just using the hard cased P100 filters with my masks and it is noticeably easier to breath in, compared to the 3M Quick Latch - while exerting yourself performing tasks that make you breath heavy. I have to climb up/down ladders, duck under things to get into tight areas, lift heavy items, pull/push ECT.. There's a lot of movement and contourting to perform work in tight or awkward areas and the Secure Click is a big step up IMO. The push button seal check alone is worth difference in price. You immediately know if you have confidence in the seal or need to adjust something - which is a valuable thing to have if you're really concerned about whats in the air you're breathing. The speaking diaphragm is also a game changer for me. I can actually communicate with other people in a noisy environment and talk to someone over a 2 way radio without stepping away to pull a mask off so I can be heard and understood - which can cause a delay and frustration. And about that - pulling the mask off is why I initially went with the Quick Latch / bayonet filter model first, thinking that would be the better choice. It is VERY convenient and those are nice masks that work well, but when working in a very dirty place with mud, or whatever else - people wind up getting that all over the face piece of the mask - trying to access and use the latch. After using them both - in a filthy environment - I think it's better to go without the Quick Latch system and pick the Secure Click model over it - and I'll explain quickly why I think that. First - if you wanna pull the Secure Click Mask off, you must pull the headband off to let the mask hang around your neck (like any other cheaper model). So any mud/dirt/whatever winds up on the headband instead of on the front of someone's mask, right in front of their face. It's much easier to clean later, and you dirty up a "better" area to have dirty. Secondly - having a speaking diaphragm on the Secure Click - you're not pulling the mask away in frustration trying to talk to someone or stuck using hand signals if you work with other people. It's not like regular talking, but it IS talking and communication is key when working as a team. Lastly - it's NOTICABLY easier to breath heavy in the Secure Click model. Normal breathing - between the two models - doesnt make much of a difference. It's when you're exerting yourself I find a noticeable difference IMO. I don't feel like I'm gasping for air in the Secure Click. Having to exert force to do work, and then to have restricted breathing on top of that - is not a good combo. Each makes the other worse and compounds the problem. It's easy to get nervous - especially if you're wearing safety glasses or goggles and they begin to fog up - making you think the "safety mask" you have on is just leaking all over the place as you're struggling with something and trying NOT to breathe heavy so the masks won't leak. It's easier to breathe heavy in the Secure Click - AND the seal is more forgiving with keeping a seal. I don't find myself "dying to pull it off" when I'm done needing it. I'm not in a rush to remove it and it's not a problem to just leave it on if I might need it again. It makes doing the work easier and I have more confidence in this over the Quick Latch option. I don't have any experience using any of the gas cartridges but I suspect it would be the same across the board regardless of whatever filter/cartridges are used. Lastly - this is a minor thing but relevant - it's easier to wipe down the Secure Click model mask to keep it clean or decontaminate it.

Fitment/seal testing function is invaluable.
Great 3M product that I can trust. I really appreciate the fitment testing feature. It may seem gimmicky at first, but after trying it, I realize it’s invaluable. With the fitment testing feature, I can verify the integrity of the seal then and there. It’s invaluable for peace of mind and limiting exposure when you’re deep in a job. It’s worth the extra. Just earlier this year, I was grinding concrete indoors with the more basic 3M respirator. I’d sometimes catch a small whiff of the dust (likely due to knocking it) or having some on my face from prior. This led to paranoia, that there was a leak, since the particles inside won’t leave and the smells can linger.

Pain Free & Easy to Breathe Through!
I LOVE this mask! I have severe chronic nerve pain originating in my cervical spine (neck), so wearing a respirator in my woodshop (a necessity) is painful for me. Most respirators rely on a tight neck strap to ensure a good fit. Unfortunately, makes it difficult for those who have neck injuries to follow safety guidelines. However, this mask relies more on the strap going to the top of your head to ensure a good fit, meaning I can have the neck strap adjusted to be comfortable WITHOUT sacrificing my safety/the fit of this respirator (the seal test button is great for putting this to the test)! About that button: I'm so glad they included the seal test button because the filters for this mask have such high airflow that without the seal test button I would think that I hadn't actually inserted any filter cartridges! It barely even feels like I'm wearing a respirator, which is amazing! Plus it's sleek design keeps my field of view clear and makes wearing this respirator with a shield in visor way more manageable than other models. It is a bit pricy and I can see that the new filter connection type is a basically just an excuse to require people to buy all new types of arbitrarily higher priced filters. Still, I think it's amazing! [To anyone else reading this: please make sure you have a proper fit and that all safety instructions are being followed, please do not take my experience as fact without testing it for yourself and your usage case.]

Huge upgrade in comfort
I love this mask. It’s a 3M, you get what you pay for. -lower profile is wonderful -much more comfortable than previous models -Arrived in great condition. I’ve used all of 3M’s older versions of half face respirators. This upgrade is amazing. This new style is much more comfortable than any other half face mask I’ve worn. I strongly recommend paying a little extra for this newer style if you wear one for extended periods of time. It’s extremely noticeable how much better this feels compared to anything else. Worth it!

Good fitting.
Works great. I have a fairly small face but it fits extremely well. Filters work good and it's easy to put on. Priced well.

Good Seal, Painful Nose Bridge
We currently use the 6502QL model half-face respirator, and I was hoping to buy this new model for my employees to use during high-intensity work activities. Unfortunately, the design of the seal around the nose bridge is painful after wearing the unit for more than a few minutes. I wore it for around a half hour, and then had to remove it and switch back to the old unit. Glad I just bought one to try out before purchasing a bunch for our team.

Comfortable
So far the mask is super convenient it’s comfortable. It’s easy to use and I can talk to people through my mask and they can understand me, which is very nice. Also, also the fit check button on the front is worth it.
