Had one for years then my husband broke it very easy to use

Really not as good as a french bean slicer,bought for a friend as a present and is really hard on Runner beans

Removed from packaging and was so blunt couldn't even pull one bean through. Absolute rubbish.

The mechanism is really hard and hurts your fingers trying to keep it open. The blades are blunt and the beans break off- waste of money

I ordered two of these bean slicers, but only one was delivered. I tried to use it to slice some freshly picked beans but could not push them through the slicer. Boris's Johnsons wit is sharper than the blades in the bean slicer.
