These are just a bit shorter so you can run them through wheel guns (revolvers) without taking the cylinder off. Typical top notch quality. If you shoot lead use them often with a good bore cleaner!

Does the job at a good price.

I'm only knocking off a star, because these are a quality item for a really good price, but they aren't what I thought I was ordering. This is still a Tipton product, but it's the basic aluminum-shanked version (SKU 770767). The photo shows the brass-shanked "Best Bore" model (SKU 669638), however, which is what I wanted to order. For a .22LR barrel, I prefer a brass shank since there's so little room between the barrel wall and the core of the brush. They're still bronze bristles, and I'll save them for use in a pinch, but they won't be my go-to. Most of the other caliber options show the correct model in the photo, but for larger chambers, the possibility of damaging your barrel from contact between the tip of the shank and the wall is far less.

They work good. I got these for my Ruber Mark IV (.22) and I'll also be using them on my Ruger 10/22, but one thing I found as a complete and utter novice is to be careful. It you screw them onto the cleaning rods too tightly, you might not get them off without destroying them. Otherwise, great pieces.
