Good fit, and nice quality muffler! Highly recommended!

The muffler arrived with part of the bracket bent, although it was packed very well. I contacted the seller, who responded extremely quickly and we were able to work out a solution that satisfied us both. The part is now on our lawnmower and working great, it was very easy to install! The item was shipped quickly as well and was delivered in the shortest time frame stated (5 days). Such high quality customer service is getting so hard to find, it was refreshing to deal with a seller that obviously is concerned with their customers. Many thanks and we will be repeat customers.

The muffler on my 1700 hours B&S, was falling apart so I bought this replacement. Based on previous reviews, I tapped the holes in the new muffler using the existing bolts, before installing, and it went on in less than 5 minutes. I don't think it is quieter but has a more consistent exhaust note.

Like I said it works but not as well as the original. It's louder. Only Comment.

When I opened the bag it came in, I was a little surprised with the condition it was in. Has some dents, scratches and some of the screws fell out. The screws were in the bag so I was able to put them back in and made sure the rest were tightened down as well. It installed easily and sounds good, my old muffler was basically gone. The non heat resistant pain they used will smoke and smell bad for a little while, but in the end it does it's job.

Installed this muffler on my 26 HP Kohler lawn mower engine and it was a perfect fit. I did not know my engine was so loud until I installed this muffler. So quit now.
