Brought my S8 back to life when Samsung technicians couldn't
Long story short. S8 died suddenly and would not charge AT ALL not even with a wireless charger, authorized Samsung fix it shop said it was a goner, I decided oh well let me at least try replacing the battery myself. The instructions say watch a youtube video on how to do it and it is the best instructions. I don't know how long this will last but at least my phone is working!

Good price, quality tools.
Ordered on Saturday and got it on Sunday! So far I have used my new battery for a few days since it was shipped Saturday and the charge itself holds up very well while I'm at work and using apps somewhat. If you need a battery I would definitely recommend this one.

Instalé esta batería en mi Samsung s8 que tenía la batería malograda y los primeros meses funcionó realmente bien, sin embargo, a partir del quinto mes la duración de esta disminuyó considerablemente

Lasted less than 10 months
I had to revise my previous glowing review of this battery. It's not even a mediocre quality product. Less than 10 months after replacing my original Samsung S8 battery, this new one started to swell and popped the back off the phone. I was told the original battery went bad because I used the wireless charging all the time. When I installed this new battery, I made a point of using the USB C cable exclusively. The only conclusions I can come to are that these are perhaps discards that didn't meet a quality manufacturer's standards, or they've just got terrible manufacturing quality. Either way, a phone battery shouldn't puff up like a baloon in 10 months.

So far so good. Battery seems to last much better than my old original Samsung S8 battery.

Difficult to Perform Process
Had some real difficulty performing the actual battery swap. Think this might be in part due to the tools being thicker than needed and perhaps the instructions it directs you to are insufficient. Resulted in a lot of cracking when trying to peel up the back panel of the phone. Needed more effective tools to remove glue from panel of phone.

Dont buy
Replaced my original battery 8 years old this battery is worse it goes dead just under 5 hours just listening to Audible. No other apps running..dont buy not as good as promises
