Very sturdy and well made. As a result it is fairly heavy. Good for windy, rainy weather but adds a noticeable weight to your bag.

Overall, I really like this umbrella. It seems quite sturdy and the extra carrying case is handy as it can be clipped onto backpacks, for example. However, it was bigger than I expected for being a "travel" umbrella. When I got it, it was slightly larger and slightly heavier than my current small umbrella (which I was hoping to find something smaller for travel) but it does have better coverage. I was surprised it isn't vented since it says it's windproof and the venting usually helps with wind; I didn't have any issues with wind, though, so IDK how easy it is to handle/manage if it does kick up significantly. Overall, a decent purchase and it got me through some rainy days on my trip.
