I recommend for learning supplement
The Tarski's World is the book for the exercise of my course in computer science. His exercises are very illustrative and important in the construction of logical reasoning. I recommend for learning supplement.

So out of date as to be unusable
I was really looking forward to tearing into this when it arrived from Amazon today. I was stunned to learn that the program only runs on Power PC machines - in other words, Apple has not made a Mac in half a decade that supports this software. Nowhere in the product description or on the product itself does it say that it will only work with a Power PC Mac. Wary about this, I had looked at the website prior to purchasing ([...]). Again, nothing. And while the software may be old because it has ben sitting on the shelf, that's no excuse for either Amazon or Stanford U. That is what I call sloppy implementation, and for that, one star.*an update*The phone numbers for assistance in the book were disconnected but some very helpful people at Stanford U. responded to the support email. With their help I got through a rather convoluted process of downloading an Intel Mac compatible piece of software which enabled me to register on their site, which in turn enabled me to download an update. Hours of correspondence, obscure instructions and trial and error resulted in software and a PDF of the manual being installed. Eventually I'll write a review of the book itself. For anyone who really wants this and has an up-to-date Mac, you will need to go to [...] and download the Lion compatible version of Submit, which is the software program you use to interact with the Stanford server to submit exercises for grading. Once you install Submit (be sure to change your finder preferences to display hard drives on your desktop or it won't install) - you can connect to GradeGrinder, the server. After that, you have to go to page 5 in the book and read the fine print about a dummy file to send to Grade Grinder - because only if you haven't given up yet, and send the right file, will you be registered. But, once registered, you can download a Lion compatible version of the Tarski's World software that comes with the book. But even that is not straightforward - if you click on the "Mac OS X" version link you get the same 2007 version that ships with the book. You have to look below that for Tarski's World applications (Lion update). Only then do you get the download package. All I can say is that it had better be good!!! I'm not ready to change the rating just yet.

A steal!
Exactly what I needed for PHIL120. Way cheaper than my college bookstore offered it at.

Learning first order logic through a game?
An interesting method for gradually construct one's understanding in first order logic. It's really worth to try the experience. I recommend it.

Good
It is for my college and it worked just fine. I hate it only because I have to finish it by March, but it served its purpose

Awesome idea.
Includes a CD of the Tarski's World application that runs on my Mac. Otherwise, just a set of exercises for the application. A great idea, well implemented.
