I can see out of my windows so much better, no more bugs sneaking in, and it’s so cheap! Easy to do yourself with the tools provided, I suggest watching a video first if you’re a first time screen replacer like I was. Sure the quality could be a little better, but you’d have to spend quite a bit more money to get that. I’m satisfied with the quality and thickness for the price.

Just did my first 36" x 36" screen in about 15 minutes. Watch a You Tube video for instructions. Very simple to do, just take your time. But two things to be aware of here. First, buy a real spline tool for $5. The included plastic model is not your friend. Second, this comes with .14 size spline. Not all screens use this size spline, so find out what you have before purchasing this. (Take the spline out of a screen you are repairing to a hardware store and they can help you.)

Extremely easy to use. This came on a roll as advertised. The cutting side of the supplied tool was useless but the rolling insertion side of the tool worked great. I used a sharp pair of open scissors to cut the scraps away. An exacto knife would work great too. I replaced an approximately 2x2 foot screen in roughly 10 minutes. Still have plenty left for other screens in the future. Would buy again.

I paid extra for the clear advantage screen. Supposedly you can see better through it and it has better airflow. I did not notice these benefits compared to the regular screen material. One advantage: With the old screens we had gnats get sucked through the screen when using a window fan. That doesn't happen with these screens because the mesh pattern is a little bit tighter.

I purchased the clear advantage screen. It looks really nice and was easy to put on, so no complaints there. There were some reviews complaining that the spline tool was too sharp and would cut the screen, but I didn’t have that problem at all. Not sure if some unlucky people got mailed a messed up spline tool or what, but I pressed down with it pretty hard at times and didn’t have issues. Also, if you’ve never replaced a screen and are not handy, I recommend watching a YouTube tutorial. I saw another reviewer recommend the screen replacement video by SeeJaneDrill, and that definitely helped me!

The screen was easy to install. No wrinkles in the roll, which was really nice. I would recommend holding onto the old piping, as what came with this one was a little too narrow for my screen, and I had to use my old one. Otherwise great product so far.

This kit made replacing my patio door screening easy, and the result exceeded my expectations. Other manufacturers send their screening folded up and tell you the folds will disappear after installation. With this particular rolled product there are no folds to begin with, eliminating a major challenge. Also, the thicker spline provided with the kit helped make for a nice taut installation of this Clear Advantage screen material.

So thin. Tears after sealed with rubber. Buy the pet screen which has lasted. If I had not had stored in closet for a while before doing I would return!

I got tired of patching up the old screen in our rented apartment and decided it was worth replacing it since we won't be moving for a while. Very simple to install, the spline provided unfortunately wasn't wide enough so I simply recycled the old one. The tool was very useful, in the past I've made do with a screwdriver or table knife. Was a bit reluctant to trim the extra screen back too much so in the end I left a bit more than I would have preferred but knowing either one of our dogs or my husband's knee might try to poke it's way through it at some point in the next few months, I preferred to leave a bit of extra to make it easy to retighten...

My teenage son used this and it took him only a few moments. Super easy and has everything you need.

It is better and easier to install than I expected. My backyard screen looks like a brand new one now! The only complain is they packed the spline too tight so the spline shape changed, the finished screen edge doesn't look perfectly. The tool comes with is not a strong one but good enough for one time usage. Installation Tips: Circle the spline twice to make the screen tight! - Insert the spline half way down for the first run (to hold the screen in place). - Second run, go edge by edge, pull the screen and fully push in the spline slowly with the tool (may take more time for the edges).
