Excellent product if collimated properly
The main reason I purchased this unit was the design (shape) which seems attractive to me, and the high zoom. The unit feels very sturdy and is not heavy at all for its size. I purchased it used for about half the price of a new one. The unit experienced bad double vision when zoomed in all the way. I could tell the one before me tried to adjust one of the tubes which was not completely screwed in. Luckily after performing a few web searches on how to collimate binoculars, I was able to locate the two flat collimation screws on the left side and slightly adjusted each one by a few degrees. This took several trials while looking at a distant object like a start or a street light located a mile away. I was finally able to get it working. What looked like two stars before is now two overlapping images of one star. The moon looks great at max zoom. I can also kind of see Venus as a small disc and its phase. Overall a great set of binoculars at this price. 5 stars if collimated properly. Pros: - Great low price especially used - Very solidly built of metal parts - Light weight despite its larger size - 70mm objective lenses allow good amounts of light at 20x - Very high zoom despite other shortcomings listed below - Smooth focus wheel - Easy to collimate following instructions on the internet Cons: - Arrived out of collimation - Small field of view, hard to locate objects unlike dedicated non-zoom astronomy binoculars - Dark image at high zoom

Amazing
Amazing zoom!!! I was shocked by how close up you can see things. Not to good for close objects but awesome for long distant objects!!

Disappointing
Not a quality item. They don't zoom well at all, when u do zoom it's blurry/doubled-vision. It's just not a high quality item. I had an older pair of binoculars that I paid half as much for, and they are just as good and maybe a little better. Was looking for an upgrade and these weren't it.

Its OK for a mediocre Pair of Binocs!
I received it quickly which was good and in use they work pretty well. I am not convinced that these magnify all the way up to 144X as advertised, but they do magnify well maybe up to about 100x. I have an older smaller pair of x80 binoculars that give me the same sight as these ones do. When you try to adjust the magnification beyond 100, the vision circle shrinks really small and you just can't focus in very well. They are advertised as military Zoom Binoculars, and NO WAY are these in the near vicinity as military grade equipment. The Quality is not there. Just one look at the cheap thin plastic casing and adjustable knobs will tell you these will never be used by the military. They come with carrying case that is so cheap and poor quality that it is recommended to get a better one. I will use them, but not what I was expecting.

Very nice one. I can see the moon with it
Use it to watch the moon, it shows fairly clear picture of the moon surfer. That is good enough for this price. Give 4 start not 5 is because when zoom in to very large, the image quality was dropped, but still able to see the target. But for this price, it is still fantastic. It is OK to use it for short distance such as than 50 feet, but not with high zoom level.

Strong Magnification.
This magnification is more powerful than I can hold in my hands steady. I'm 63 years old. I bought the Barska Tripod Adapter. I already had an adjustable tripod that can fold up small. This is by far the best binoculars I've ever had.

I Can See Clearly Now!
I love these binoculars they're so strong I can actually see in the medicine cabinets next door!

Disappointing, arrived with lenses misaligned.
I ordered these binoculars to view the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction, but they arrived with the lenses severely misaligned, resulting in double vision for anything but the most-zoomed-out setting. They were usable through one eye at a time on more zoomed-in settings, but zooming in didn't add any sharpness; there was lots of chromatic aberration and uncorrectable blur at deeper zooms, through either lens. Should have bought a telescope instead! Will return for a refund.
