Solid Forged Steel? Not certain about that.
I like it and it works, however, the head may not be fully solid forged steel as the promotions indicate, much of it looks a little rough as in cast iron? The back of the head might be risky to use as a hammer, should one be inclined to try that!

Amazing for the money.
Very comfortable, low vibration, and decently sturdy axe head. Excellent splitter for average dudes. Was ripping 12-15" hardwoods with single swings.
