Works great for stubborn clogs
I used this drain auger in my bathroom sink and it cleared a tough clog quickly. The 25-foot length reached deep, and attaching it to my drill made the job effortless. The included gloves were handy for keeping things clean. Sturdy, flexible, and much cheaper than calling a plumber.

Worked for us!! Saved us a ton of money!
Short background... the former occupant of our home was a cat hoarder. They cleaned the litter boxes out in the bathtub, which dumped clay litter in the drain. This formed a "neo-cement" compound that water couldn't get past.Wife and I consulted two plumbers, and were told the entire tub had to be removed and the drain plumbing replaced. Quite a penny looking at us.For kicks, I bought this thing. And in thirty minutes and some deft hand cranking, it broke apart the cement in the drain and the water fully drained out. I was a skeptic, but it did the trick for us. My wife is thrilled at not standing in ankle deep water. :DAnyone facing crazy clogs should give this a go first. It's light, easy to store, well built, and does exactly what it was supposed to do!

Good enough to get the job done.
We had a sink that kept backing up no matter how many times we used draino. It would work for a few days but then it would back up again. So I knew there was something more than a "regular" clog. I removed the p trap and still didn't find our issue. This auger was available with overnight shipping to my area so it came super fast. The reason it's only a 4 star vs a 5 star is that it couldn't get past a bend in our pipes. For some reason the pipes make a 90 degree bend to the right rather than down and it just couldn't get around that. I tried several times with different techniques but it just wouldn't work.I believe that for most applications this tool would be excellent to help with clogged drains, but it just didn't work for my situation. The tool is decent quality, it feels as if it would stand up to years of moderate use for the average homeowner.Downsides to this product, doesn't seem to be able to maneuver around side to side bends in pipes. Other than that, there are no downsides to mention. Good tool to have around the house.

Worked perfectly
What a pleasure to get something that works perfectly and is easy to use! Solved our issues in moments! Bathroom sink clog was past the typical tool 24” length- in fact I had to run almost the whole 25’ in to get it unblocked- but it worked!!! Did not use the drill with it just did it by hand. Thank you!

Try this before calling a plumber.
Very good product. Was able to break up a clog 17 feet down my pipe. The drill attachment was most effective. Very durable, got stuck in pipe and was able to yank out with no problem. Saved the day.

Works well BUT coil is prove to bends and kinks
This drain snake works well and has saved me plenty on hitting a plumber for clogged drains. That being said, the coil is very prone to getting kinks and bends that completely ruin the functionality of this device. The kinks are very hard to try to straighten(and easily re bend), and you can't use the snake at the bend points, meaning you'll have to throw it out and buy a new one. I'm on my 2nd one, as each new purchase only gets a few uses. Yes it's cheaper than a plumber, but very wasteful.

Get this over anything else!
I had a drain that would drain so slowly, and all my attempts with one of those orange clog removers, or the metal thing with the push spring on the end just would not work.I bought this this and within a minute I got it cleared, somehow a bouncy ball had gotten in there.Pro: Once you understand how this works, it is super easy, You won't even really need to use the drill unless you absolutely need to. I recomend going by hand to start!Cons: I didn't run into any, maybe the little tightening screw at the end could have a larger grip to it, but not an issue.

Works great; follow instructions.
I’ve only used it on one clog, but it worked great and would get to areas further down the drain that those other flexible plastic versions would not. A key thing to remember is to be sure to follow the instructions and only turn the hand crank (after tightening the thumbscrew) when you have just a few inches of the cable/spring sticking out of the drain; otherwise, the cable/spring will just twist and kink. I was able to clear a clog that had completely stopped water from draining from a tub.
