I’m a single woman who bought my first home a couple of years ago. I had a clogged drain and was very tempted to call a plumber but thought I’d see if I could fix it. ChatGPT said I needed an auger, and this one had good reviews, so I thought I’d give it a go. IT WORKS. Easy to use. I don’t have a drill and it was still very easy to use and powerfully effective.Pair with Lizzo’s “Water Me” and Destiny’s Child “Independent Women” for your celebratory dance afterwards. I ordered this instead of calling a plumber, again. My husband was able to unclog the kitchen sink with it so I am happy with the purchase and results. I didn’t use it myself so I can’t speak to the ease of use, but it did what it was supposed to.

Kitchen sick had backed up. The plunger wasn't helping so I bought this auger. Some reviews were negative and I do see why. The auger body feels cheap and is awkward to hold and use with the drill while also pushing more into the pipe. But with a lot of frustration and will power, I did get the clog out.

Worked great. Has some hair clogged in my bath tub. Got it out. And now it is draining perfect. Easy to use

My tub has been clogged and it's been such a pain to deal with but this item I was able to sneak the drain almost a full 25 feet it's not easy but it takes a little technique in getting used to but it did the job and it worked and the gloves were definite plus they're durable and just perfect I would recommend it

Own it if you own a home. Used it after watching few YouTube videos and took a bathtub clog tight out.Really helpful

I can see the promise in this tool, but it didn't work for what I needed. Our vent pipe on the roof has a clog from what I imagine are years of leaves and acorns. This tool can punch through the clog, but it won't pull it out. It needs something like reverse hooks on it to pull out the leaf clog.Pros: Easy to use, instructions are clear, long enough to reach most clogsCons: Can bend too much during use, doesn't pull out some clogs

Got my bathroom sink draining pretty well, so yay! Seems pretty will made, stainless steel spring, reasonably robust plastic.A bit of a pita though, but kind of not its fault. Getting it past the U-trap took some futzing around, as predicted in the instructions, and like you'd expect.Also not that easy to clean. Gunk gets stuck in the last 6 in of the cable, not that easy to get out, but I'm not sure how that could be improved. Ended up using needlenose pliers, still awkward.Suggestion that would improve it, i think: Loosening and tightening the thumbscrew to pull out more cable is somewhat fiddly. Would be nice if there was a simple flip latch instead.I don't mean to drill on these little things. Bottom line is that it did what it's supposed to do, and I'm grateful to finally have a better solution than my previous plunging strategy.
