Great flavor - use it for omelets, tacos, chips, and anything Mexican.
Great flavor with just a little "bite". My local supermarket stopped stocking the red sauce and I was very glad to find it on Amazon with free shipping and at a very attractive price. Ingredients look and taste authentic and the best salsa I've found so far. It's almost so good you want to eat it right out of the can with a spoon! I wouldn't have bought a full case but that was the best option on the Amazon website, and I'm sure it will all get used. Once you get the flavor of this sauce, you will think of many places it can be used. One restaurant owner told me he adds salsa (not necessarily this brand) when he makes chili for the restaurant - it's the "secret sauce" that diners love. I will try that when I make a batch of chili. If you are a Mexican food fan you won't be disappointed in the Embasa sauce. They also sell a "verde" (green) version, which I have yet to try.

This is an amazing can of salsa
First of all, what do you think when you think salsa? Some salsa with all the right flavors, hits on all parts of your tongue, makes you make the face as your tastebuds explain to your brain what you have just encountered? This is not the best salsa you will ever try. But, this salsa is always consistant. It tastes great, has the right amount of heat for just about anyone. Except those people who only want the stuff that sets them on fire from mouth to anus. If I was to pick one salsa to eat for the rest of my life, this is it. It is convenient, it goes great in so man recipes. But, it is getting costly, used to be $1 in the store, now $2 a can on Amazon. If you are lucky enough to find it locally buy it there, but just buy it!!!!

good salsa
I like the taste of this salsa and the size of the can which is perfect for one or two meals. I found it better to buy a pack of these and use a can at a time when needed as opposed to having a large jar of salsa opened.

The can lids can be difficult to pull off.
Heat level: Good Taste: Good Quality: Good Value for money: OK, however the can lids are difficult to open, sometimes the tab breaks off when pulling. Using a can opener may be easier and safer.

Wonderful idea
I have always purchased salsa in the jars but I thought this would be an interesting idea. Its great to take with you for lunch and you can store any leftovers in a small storage container; it lasts forever in the fridge. Since the cans are small, they are perfect for one meal so there is no waste. The flavor is great. I highly recommend this product and will buy again.

Green is good...go green!
I'm not kiddin'...this stuff is incredible! If it ever becomes unavailable, I might have to move south of the border. Essentially, salsa verde is green tomatoes, chiles, onions, cilantro, and garlic powder...all pureed together into something greater than the sum of its parts...truly addictive! The mix of spices is perfect, while the medium pepper heat doesn't detract from the more subtle flavors. I like it chilled, with some stone-ground tortilla chips. I can't wait to try it on burgers, tacos, enchiladas, re-fried beans, chicken fingers, road-kill...you name it. The entire 7 oz can is only 35 calories, but the salt content is a bit high, though not noticeably so. You might be tempted to pop-a-top and drink it straight from the tin, like a gazpacho [cold soup]...that's perfectly alright...go for it!
