I've owned my impala since new (June 2020). The car has spent its entire life outside, exposed to all the elements. I wash my car as often as I can but since I don't have a garage, I can't do it that often. I felt the paint after I washed it and it had the gritty feel. Bought this clay, the first time doing the clay treatment, and I did my hood and trunk first and it came out smooth as glass. It really does work! I used some Meguiars Gold Class shampoo and conditioner as a lubricant. I used half a bar and wrapped the other half in some plastic wrap for later. This stuff is easy to nead although it is stiff but it work wonders. It really got the containments out the paint. I followed it up with some meguiars compound, polish and wax and my cars hood and trunk are so deep black you might fall through it. Love this stuff. Also it's kinda fun to do. If you take it somewhere and have pros do it, they will charge you about $500. While there is nothing wrong with that, its not hard to do it yourself. Most of the stuff needed to do a nice detail is cheap and can be done in one weekend.

Works Fairly well, it’s not super aggressive like ones I usually use . And anything can scratch paint especially dark vehicles , all depends on. Good product does work

This is our beloved 2001 Mitsubishi Montero now used by our daughter to go to college. She had always been garaged but not anymore so the paint looked beige rather than white, she looked as if she was dirty all the time. First, you must wash the vehicle thoroughly to remove all dirt and grime. I then grabbed my spray bottle with about 1 to 2 oz of Dawn dish soap got the area, to work on wet, as well as the clay bar and I went at it. Work one area at the time and let the bar work it’s magic always spraying and maintaining the area and bar wet. Gosh, the paint is now clear of contaminants and she is shiny again. I am not done yet, now a hand polish and some good ceramic wax and will be looking sexy again. Great product. 👍🏼

There are better prices for similar products on Amazon that come with clay lubricants pellets. Quality appeared good otherwise, but simply not cost competitive.

Luv this product if you live in Florida you know about lovebugs and how they splatter on the grill and windshield of your car. This is the only product we have found to work and eliminate the residue. Highly recommend, and it lasts a long time and goes a long way.

I've used many brands of clay bars over the years, some purchased from here. Despite using a good soap/water muzlxture this stuff hangs up easily in some areas and got wedged in right areas I needed to reach, where other name brands I used did not. I actually used this one and my A**ms one next to each other and could easily tell a difference. Also, I seemingly had to rub harder to get impurities/overspray off. As for on flat easy to reach surfaces, it works great, just use a higher concentration of soap/water mix or buy one specifically for using a clay bar. I used two of the four and gave the rest to a neighbor, I'm going back to my old clay bars.
