Best wrist brace
I own more than 2 dozen wrist braces. This is by far the best. The plastic gives enough support. The padding is for comfort. It is also very light. If you have to wear a wrist braces 24 hours , you would know that eventually it will irritate your skin. This one is breathable. The hooks also make it easy to put on and take off.

Comfort
Helped with my broken wrist recovery for a whole year. I'm a mechanic and I was able to wear this for work. Although range of motion was very limited, it was light weight and breathable which allowed me the comfortability to wear it all day.

Great Brace, Not Too Durable
This brace is very lightweight and comfortable. I've been using it for a moderate wrist sprain. It breathes more than other braces, and it is slightly less noticeable, which is nice. I love that the closures aren't velcro. It would be even better if the little adjustment strap was made of something other than velcro. I would prefer that the strap that goes above the thumb was maybe 1/4" higher, but it doesn't chafe or hurt anyway, which is more than I can say for a lot of other braces. I'm a little concerned about the soft plastic overmolding by the palm of the hand. I use a manual wheelchair, so I'm sure I'm a bit harder on it than some people would be, but I use my feet more than my hands to propel myself around my little apartment, so I don't think it makes too much of a difference. Anyway, the soft plastic peeled up first near the heel of the palm. I super glued it, and it doesn't look very nice, but at least for now it's staying where it belongs. Now it's also peeling up on the little strip that goes around to the back of the hand (under the thumb), and that part of the brace doesn't get much wear and tear at all. This soft plastic is what goes above the thumb, so if too much of it peels up elsewhere, that strap is going to eventually break. I've worked with this type of soft rubbery plastic before in manufacturing, and it know it's difficult to make it any more durable, but maybe the manufacturer needs to look at using some other kind of material for the palm and thumb strap.

Best for lack of pain when doing hard work
I don't know why this is so protective, but it is the best wrist brace I have when it comes to doing outdoor lawn and forest work. It takes a few extra seconds to get it cinched up, but you can work for hours with minimal pain once it is on. I use it under a work glove so the hard plastic isn't an issue with gripping. Using it without a glove isn't advised -- but you should wear work gloves anyway. I have about 5 other wrist braces. I have a TFCC tear and assume that this would also be very useful for anyone with tha recent break, sprain, arthritis or carpal tunel issues. I just wore this for 9 hours of driving a Cat 299D3 yesterday, without a glove, and completely forgot I had it on -- and no issues with pain after at night.

Third one I've bought
I wear a wrist-brace daily and basically the entire time I am at work. I've tried MANY. I like this one because it is easy to adjust, is "comfortable" (it IS a brace!), is light-weight and open. Depending on the season (and office temps), a brace can get "hot and sweaty" but this is the lightest one I've found that does the job. It is study and I generally get 18 months Plus usage. Sometimes the palm portion gets "smelly" but I have rinsed it under cold water (with a little hand soap) and it's good. Generally I buy a new one when the padding starts to come up or, with the last one, the cross-piece cracked.

Almost-Garbage
The truth is, I like this product. Or rather, I like what it's supposed to be. There are several major flaws with it. 1] it's not "low profile". in fact it has a larger profile than most braces. Why? Because the top part doesn't sit on the hand. It actually sticks out more (even tightening it to keep it down, at which point you're literally cutting into your own wrist, doesn't really keep it flush against your hand). 2] the biggest flaw, IMO, is the velcro strap designed to help keep it against your forearm. It's that black strap at the bottom in the product image above. See, the other two straps (the one up at the top for your hand, and the one on your forearm on the other side (you can see them in the back of the image) have an adjustable hook and loop closure. It's a very good design too, as it stays secure (and doesn't slide/loosen too easily). But that velcro part is, for some reason, supposed to go through a little hole in the plastic of the brace. The actual piece was broken when I got it. It is TINY. Literally, where it connects to the main part of the brace, it's barely 1mm thick. Yes, millimeter. It's so poorly engineered, it's sad. And to clarify a bit of what I mentioned in the first issue, the actual length from the wrist to the top of the hand part (upper part of the brace) is longer than most off the shelf braces (hence why it actually sticks up). The inner cushion is rather nice, and again there could be some workarounds, IF that velcro issue wasn't so glaring and "design killing". All they had to do was make that slot for the velcro about a half inch further in, and this would have been a passable brace for light duty support.

Comfortable-Durable for light duty-NonBulky
Great product--it's comfortable, non-bulky, and provides the the support I need for my tendinitis in my wrist. I ordered the large version of the brace and the fit was good. Straps are easy to adjust and the padding on the inside of the wrist brace is removable and is washable. I would suggest either hand washing or getting a small mesh laundry bag that the liner can be put into prior to putting into the washing machine. I have not had any problems with durability as mentioned in some of the other posts. I have used it during office work and while tending to my baby girl. Bottom line-I would buy it again and recommend it to others.
