I had the more expensive Kryptonite locks. Those, the chains were heavier and the locks felt better. However given the lightweight nature and brand, I'd say this is a good quality lock. Some people don't want to carry heavy chains so this solves the weight issue. The length is long enough to lock up aginst most places. The lock feels a bit flimsy and not as strong

These are very good, had no problems opening and locking the chain. I’m not in a big city though so not sure it will be tested to the full extent!

Used this lock for nearly a year, always thought it was a solid lock as the reviews seemed very good for it, I always wrapped it around the base near the front wheel twice so not much slack was left at all. However someone was able to simply put a metal bar in the middle of this chain while wrapped around my scooter and simply snapped it with force, no tools needed, then the fabric was simply cut to free the scooter. It’s my own fault for not investing in a better lock, but if I can prevent one person from buying this utter garbage of a chain then I’m glad. If you have a bike or e scooter that you value then please find a better alternative, this has the same effectiveness as a couple of zip ties.

Stopped working after 6 months of general use.

The keys are extremely brittle and flimsy, the second time using this the key bent and stuck in the lock. Useless and cheap product.

The lock on this broke. In the first 2 weeks. Had to lock it up without the chain and only using a u-lock whilst waiting for them to reply for replacement. They have not got back to me and in that time I got my tyres stolen. Thanks kryptonite 👍

Of course, this review is in Singapore where bike theft is not exactly rampant. That said, this lock has a good balance of weight and deterrence. It looks chunky and strong, and yet it's not so heavy it becomes a burden to lug around. Convenient length. One of the reviewers here says it thwarted a cutting effort so I think it's good enough for supermarket or hawker centre runs where the bike will be parked in high traffic locations and secured to a post. Whilst it wraps around the seat post, my thighs will occasionally rub against it. Will probably have to wrap it around the top tube next time.

This is a durable and strong lock, with plenty of flexibility to be used in a variety of ways. I was able to buy a second set of keys for safe keeping.

Zijn niet te zwaar in gewicht en past goed met een fietshoes waar gaten in zitten. Ik heb er twee gekocht voor mijn ebike, zodat je zet om beide velgen kan vastzetten. Sleuteltje voelt wat iel aan, maar slot is prettig in gebruik. Kan ze goed opbergen in mijn fietstas.

This lock will laugh in the face of bolt cutters.
