My right ear has been compacted for the better part of 4 years. Drops wouldn't help, bulbs and syringes didn't help, and the scoops were too risky to try alone. On the first try using this, after sitting with their drops in for 10 minutes, it COMPLETELY flushed all the compacted wax out. I was mortified by the size of what came out, and then more kept coming. It's almost off-putting how well I can hear out of the ear now. It's so clear that my left ear now sounds muffled by comparison, and I thought the left ear was fine. Works perfectly, not uncomfortable, felt totally safe. Definitely do it over a sink or in the shower if alone and not able to use the little trough thing. I did get water everywhere, but I was also using a lot of pressure.

It really works. You do have to fill the bottle up a few times, but I was able to get a nice clog of wax out of my daughters ear and my boyfriend was able to get some out out of my ear. It works by it if you need it, it has everything you need

This product does what it’s supposed to do. It’s a little difficult to use, especially if you’re trying to do it by yourself, but it does remove wax from the ear. 👂

The instructions are meant to be followed for a reason. Seriously, the temp of the water is extremely important. I just used warm water but it was not warm enough - ended up so dizzy I fell down. The next day I followed to a “T” and wow! The drops are 10/10 and I can hear. What came out made me wanna puke. It’s great.

Edit: I originally gave this one star. Since I've had a little bit more chance to use it I have determined that it works a little better than I originally thought. It's definitely not perfect and it certainly would be better if the stream was more powerful from the sprayer. However it does work to an extent. Therefore I raised the review to three stars. I'm still not happy about how badly this spray bottle leaks. You basically have to empty all the water out of it in between uses. It's not rocket science to create a spray bottle that does not leak.I bought this product hoping it would be better than the standard rubber bulbs. It is not. The spray is just not strong enough. It does nothing, even after using the wax loosening drops.As a bonus, the sprayer is just tall enough that it doesn't fit conveniently upright in any of my shelves or drawers. I ended up storing it at a slight angle in the drawer where I keep my other medicine. It ended up leaking All of the water into the drawer, running several products that were in the drawer with it. Way to go!

I used the 'wax softening drops', let that sit for about ten minutes (I referenced my clock radio) then flushed with the included rubber tips on the also included spray bottle.A few minutes later a chunk came out and my right ear was no longer deaf.

Best product if you have ear problems with blockages!!! I’ve had on going blockages for two years now and finally after my ear being clogged for weeks I gave in to buy this and I got it out and all the old ear wax so fast !! And so easy !! It comes with extra tips and ear wax softener that works so well the ear wax is already coming out after the 15mins you sit there with it !

Problems with ear wax are not something I run up against often, but when I do, believe me, they can get bad. If I'm lucky, all that happens is my hearing is muffled and distorted with no other effects, and if I'm not, I get dizzy, my ears ache and itch, and I grow disoriented on top of that. In the past, I've had to arrange emergency doctor's appointments for ear cleansing. I don't have to anymore with this in my medicine cabinet. There are a number of things I like about it.First, I found assembly quite easy. It wasn't hard to figure out how parts fit together. I didn't really need to read the instructions too thoroughly first. It involved nothing terribly complicated and took only a few minutes. If you take my remarkable lack of patience for fiddling with components into account, that's saying something. Everything is made well, easy to put together, and simple to disassemble for cleaning and storage.Second, the ear drops that came with the kit are the only ones I have tried that really worked. I followed the directions for use after I checked out the company's website, and they worked exactly as indicated. I've used peroxide and other types of drops to no avail, so though I was skeptical of these, I tried them and was glad I did.Third and most importantly, the product itself did the job it promised to do. I was able to rid myself of all the wax build-up after using a little more than one full bottle of warm water. There was minimal discomfort involved with the process. I don't think it would have hurt at all if I hadn't procrastinated while waiting for the problem to sort itself out. Because of the way the kit was designed, I could carry out the task alone, without needing to ask anyone else to help me hold the catch basin or anything else. The company's website recommends using the kit with the rigid wand, which this one is, when working solo, and they were right. The procedure was relatively quick, the relief at being able to hear properly again immense.Originally, I bought this because I wanted to try a manual ear irrigation system before going for an electronic version. While I have nothing against the latter and would have tried one if this hadn't helped me, I can attest that this worked precisely as advertised, and I can highly recommend it.
