I absolutely love this Topwit electric hot pot! It heats up fast and is super convenient for cooking soups, noodles, or even steaming veggies and shrimp thanks to the steamer insert. This thing is fabulous. I keep saying, "it's more than I ever expected". It steams vegetables in minutes, chicken, fish you name it. Haven't tried pasta or soup yet, but just to have a small counter steamer with a large basket is a plus. I steamed 2 chicken legs and a bunch of vegetables in less than 15 minutes. Easy clean up, but as the instructions say, don't submerse the electric pot, just rinse and wipe it clean.. you will see after the first or second use a white ring on the inside where the heating element is, this is caused by using hard water out of the tap. It can be cleaned and info is in the instructions so not freak out. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Go to Costco or Sam's and stock up on vegetables, you'll be using it every day.. great for studio condos, dorm rooms, camper.. even your 10 bedroom/6 bathroom mansion.

This is a handy little hot pot. Interior is all stainless steel, so no plastic outgassing. It heats up quickly. A little hard to regulate heat beyond very low or very high, but for heating up soup, steaming vegetables (my steamer fits easily into this pot), warming left-overs, this works quite well. And this could be used for travel as it is fairly light.

I freaking use this thing to cook everything that will fit and even caught myself trimming meat to fit in it. It cooks pretty good it's got two heat settings "hot and I'm assuming Hell" just last night I made "drop in the pot stew" started by sauteing garlic and butter from a cold pot and I but a dab of butter in and added garlic , and turned on low, and almost instantaneously i heard butter starting to sizzle, (so be sure keep constantly stirring if applicable), it's not coated with anything, it's just stainless steel or something like that but no ceramic. But it will clean up fairly easily, I mean you don't need no heavy equipment or anything just the basic dish cleaning accoutrements. I do recommend it though it's a pretty good pot that heats very quickly and it's actually built pretty good! Also makes a pretty good and fast, cheeseburgers, thinking about cutting a London broil in half sear it up , dump in onions, cream of bacon and cream of celery soup chicken broth and let it cook til time to add a few baby red potatoes till tender, unplug , grab a cold beer , head out ondeck and enjoy it with high definition mother nature, eat and reboot ....cheer's

I wasn't really sure what to expect when I bought it. I thought it would be nice to have for the summer when it's too hot to use the stove. I saw people on TikTok with the other version of this, but figured it was about the same.The fact that it works so well leads me to believe people in dorms could get a lot of use out of it. It's not huge, but holds a decent amount of water. People are using it to make pasta and ramen. It works well for boiling eggs and comes with a little egg boiling rack which you have to assemble. Assembly is easy. You push the knob into the slot and twist to lock it into place.As for boiling power I was surprised at how fast it got up to temperature. With the wattage I expected it to either get hot and not boil or to take forever. It doesn't take long at all. In the future I might upload a video of using it. I just wanted to show in pictures the unboxing.

Blew the circuits. I have used it for a few days. Today it blew the circuit breaker every time I plugged it it. No other devices were running but were plugged in. Tossed it.

This is probably the coolest purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon. It’s really convenient for cooking if you don’t want to be standing in front of a stove or if you don’t have a stove. And it really starts to heat up in a minute. Perfect for college students. I prefer the stainless steel over the black nonstick one. The black material in the nonstick is eventually going to scratch off when you wash these which is also dangerous when ingesting. The stainless steel is the go to in my opinion. The only down fall to this is the cleaning. Trying so hard not to get any water in any electrical parts you don’t want water to be at and ruin this. And I wish the outlet cord was a little longer. It gives little access to expanding your cooking range. For the price it’s worth buying. Great for hotpot. Food doesn’t stick to the stainless steel. I feel like this can last me a long time. I didn’t mind the color I got when I ordered this but it was all I had to choose from for same day delivery.
