Kind of amazing!
I have long layered hair that has just a touch of wave. I can't let it dry and go because it isn't wavy enough so it just looks messy. I am trying to stop using heated styling tools but still need something to help me get some waves in my hair when I wear it wavy. I saw these and figured I would give them a try, not expecting much from them. When these rods arrived, I was amazed at how many there were. Many sizes for all kinds of waves and very simple to use. The first time I tried them, I just tossed in some rods any old way, not even looking into a mirror. I waited for a couple of hours and removed the rods. To my surprise, I had a head full of soft, full waves! I couldn't believe it. The waves stayed in my hair all day and into the next too. I did this on dry hair. I never use these on wet hair. I spray my hair with hairspray or finishing spray before I remove the rods which definitely helps lock in the waves and curls. I now pay more attention to which size rods I use but I really don't put a ton of effort into using them. I just wind my hair up and bend the ends to close the rod and wait a couple of hours. I could sleep in these but I haven't needed to go that long to get my desired results. They are comfortable on my head, not heavy, and don't damage my hair in any way. They easily untwist and return their usual long form. I haven't had a single issue with any of the rods breaking or bending and not going back to being straight. It's amazing that I can get the results I do without heat and without a ton of effort. I am very pleased with these rods. I have tried so many other ways to get my hair to wave and curl and none worked as well, not even heated rollers and curling irons. For me, these are just what I need and I am so glad I don't have to worry about damaging my hair. The only tiny downside is that I have to wait a few hours to get the results rather than get them quickly like with heated products but it is so worth the tradeoff.

Must have if you have heartless curls
These curlers are incredible! At first I was skeptical at how well these curlers would work and hold. However, I was amazingly surprised! These work best is the hair is slightly damp and not fully soaked in order for the hair to fully dry before taking the curlers out. It is super simple to use and is comfortable enough to sleep in. These are the perfect headless curlers for all ages!

Variety of Styles are Possible!
I decided to get the Tifara Flexible Curling Rods to see what they were capable of. I have long hair that's somewhat thick, and I questioned if 42 rods would be enough to roll every section of hair. (It was. I used 36!) Tifara has helpful instructions printed on the bottom of the clear carry bag. Definitely helpful, but not helpful enough for me. There's more than one way to use these flexible rods, depending upon the look you're going for. I went to YouTube and found several videos devoted to this subject. My biggest issue with flexible curling rods is how to bend them so that the rod remains close to the head. The end of each rod has a white plastic cap. You have to be careful not to let your hair get wrapped into that area, because hair tangles up in it easily. I decided to try putting some "Unite Boing Moisture Curl Cream" on a stand of hair, securing it on a rod, spraying Joico Heat Hero spray on it and seeing if the curl could be produced faster. It can, but the trade off for this is your using heat, which defeats the purpose of a heatless curl. Some people claim they can sleep with these in their hair. I'm not one of them. I thought they hurt. I persevered for the sake of this review, and kept the Tifara rods in all night on my wet hair. The next day, I carefully removed each rod. They definitely do the job! I used different rolling techniques and different rod sizes so I could see how they turned out. You can produce several different looks. The curls felt soft and springy. I was able to use my fingers to divide thicker curls into multiple thinner ones. I didn't expect the curls that were produced to hold all day, but they did. In fact, they outlasted my willingness to go without washing my hair. The curls stayed when I used a wide toothed comb or my fingers to style them. When I used a brush, the curls became much less defined, but they left me with a ton of waves and volume. Bottom line: the Tifara 7" Flexible Curling Rods are a fun way to experiment with styling your hair and they are capable of producing many different looks. Although sleeping with the rods in can help save your hair from the damage caused by heat, breakage from getting your hair tangled is possible if you don't use caution. I recommend these if your looking for a fun way to experiment with your hair, (or if you live in an area that has a lot of wind storms with power outages and hate your hair being straight!) Good product and worth the money.

Easy to Use and No heat
These really work super easy and flexible and leaves a nice curl or wave in your hair. I just roll them up and work and with in a half hour you a bouncy curl. Easy to use and doesn't tangle in your hair. Would definitely buy again! And best thing is no heat to damage your hair!

Best hair rollers in the market
This is the best hair roller to ever exist. So easy to use. Not too complicated. I used this to curl my hair for a friend’s wedding and it did the job perfectly. Absolutely love.

Comfortable
I really wanted to love these. Unfortunately they just don't work well with my hair. I have long layered hair. Anywhere from 8 inches to 25 for length of layers. Due to this, I have to make lots of parts. Once I take the rollers out my parts still show very bad. Even with more parts it is still challenging to get the ends wrapped. Almost all of my curls end up with a weird elongated curl on the bottom. It doesn't look good. The tabs on the end do cause a problem when I'm trying to roll the back of my hair. An already rolled one will catch the hair I'm sectioning or using and I have to figure out how to get it out without seeing it well. That all being said, these do provide very tight curls. I think they are more suited for one length hair or hair with long layers only. They are also comfortable to sleep in. Mind you, some unrolling may be needed in certain areas to keep hair from being pulled. I also use a satin bonnet which helped keep them from getting frizzy. I'm going to try them on my nieces hair this weekend. If they do well then I will give them to her!

Good product
Good product. The rollers are soft with a flexible hard core that bends easily. The variety of sizes allows me to create different looks. I use it on wet hair then use the blow dryer briefly to dry my hair faster. Provides a nice curl. I found that sleeping with them can be a bit uncomfortable though.

Easy, No Heat Curls!
I can't believe I waited so long to buy these beauties. These curlers are incredibly easy to use and they give you gorgeous curls that last for days. I have tried every heatless curling method there is -- sleep styler, braiding, boho headband wrapping, and every other tutorial on youtube -- and this is the only one that ACTUALLY works. The set comes in a nice zippered carrying case with seven different sizes of rollers. I only used the two biggest sizes (blue and pink). The first time I tried these, I wrapped them from the bottom like traditional rollers. They're easy to hold in place, once you figure out which way to crimp the ends. (Hint: if you're rolling away from your face, as most of you probably will be, you'll need to bend the edges up into a "U" shape. If you're rolling toward your face, you need to put them the other way with the ends pointing down.) I slept in them and had incredibly bouncy, Shirley Temple style curls. I actually spent some time pulling on them to get the curls to straighten out - they were way too sproingy for a woman in her thirties, ha! The second time I adjusted my rolling technique because I wanted looser curls. After a nighttime shower, with wet hair, I held the roller against my head and wrapped the hair around the barrel away from my face. This technique meant that the ends of my hair were sticking out a little, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The curls looked much more natural. (When I curled them the first time and the ends were fully curled, it looked a little crazy.) I pulled the curlers out in the morning and I had gorgeous, loose curls that looked like I did them with a curling iron (it was the same look I get from spending 30 minutes with my 1" curling iron). I nearly wept with joy. No more heat styling for me!! They're not exactly the most comfortable thing to sleep in, but if you get the placement right (cluster them around your ears and on top of your head, leaving the back of your head bare) you'll be ok with a squishy pillow. For the record, I had no issues sleeping with them, but I'm a back sleeper. I think these are incredibly easy to use and you should have no problem with them, even if you're a hair styling neophyte. That being said, while I'm not a professional hairstylist, I know my way around a curling iron and am pretty good at making my hair look how I want using styling tools. I'm just lazy and don't want to spend an hour doing my hair every morning. The photos are me with sproingy curls pulled out a bit, then two days later (!), then the final, looser curls that I'm so in love with.
