Actually ordered these by mistake, my fault, and kept as returning is not really an option. Three boxes will be a challenge to use up. These are a rare 4 bar pod which makes an unusual half cup of coffee, not an espresso, not a full cup of coffee. The quality is very good for what it is. I have not tried and from past experience not advisable to stray from the bar system and adjust to more or less bars. If you drink coffee by the half cup, this Lungo pod is for you.

Hard to find locally, but easy to find here, the Dolce Gusto line of coffees is just delicioso!

The Dolce Gusto Caffe Lungo capsules are awesome. This is a strong coffee, a caffe lungo is a "long coffee" or big coffee that Europeans drink. It's like their everyday coffee. The caffe lungo is meant to be a stronger tasting, somewhat bitter coffee. It means business. So if you like a strong, slightly bitter coffee in the morning like I do, it's wonderful. Now. Because the Dolce Gusto machine lets YOU decide how much water to add, you can further control the strength and therefore bitterness. Obviously, the more water you add, the more mild the coffee will be. I suggest that when you first get the machine, you experiment with strength by using a pyrex measuring cup. They suggest adding 4oz of water, but obviously you can add however much or however little water your heart desires to suit your tastes. Apparently, Europeans are not sitting around enjoying big mugs like Americans are. I think they simply drink more cups throughout the day. At any rate, this is a wonderful, full-bodied and slightly bitter coffee. I makes a wonderful crema layer. (the froth you get from a pressure-brewed coffee) You certainly can't get this from a k-cup or Keurig (drip brew) system. I love this first thing in the morning when I need a sock in the eye to wake me up!

I feel so guilty sometimes, buying these coffee pods. The wasted plastic, the expense, every now and again, I get in a phase where I insist on using my French press and then, a few days later, after the coffee grains have taken over the floor in front of my coffee area, or the sink is clogged because my son decided to empty the press into the drain, etc. Then I remember why I love my Dolce Gusto machine. NO CLEAN UP REQUIRED! The Lungo coffees are great. The coffee pours smoothly, smells crisp and fresh and the taste is clean with a slight bitter twist at the finish. A nice crema is formed and my spoon breaks it apart revealing the rich dark essence beneath!

Llegaron perfectas mis cajas de café, buena relación costo beneficio y más barato que comprar café del día en un oxxo. Buen sabor.. Las recomiendo a quien busque 1 buena taza de café.

Since Nestle Canada is not selling these anymore, I have to buy them here- but I love this coffee and I am going to buy it as long as my machine still works
