Great shelf
I’m super happy with this purchase. I’ve put together a lot of furniture and this was by far the most simple and straight forward. Took me maybe 50 minutes, the longest part being putting the shelves in. I fit 19 DVDs on each shelf, you could fit 20 if you squeeze them in but I wanted to be able to see all of them so I left it at 19. You can fit 9 Disney VHS cases on a shelf and 11 if they’re out of case/have the cardboard slip cover. Not as heavy as I was expecting, was simple to move into place with just 2 people.

Great storage for DVD’s and Video Tapes
This met all my the check marks for what I was looking for. Doesn’t take up a lot of space, very sturdy and it looks great in our movie room. Takes time and patience to put together. The best advice for putting it together is organize all the pieces and follow the instructions and you will be happy with the finished product.

Assembly
The tower was fairly easy to assemble but as a couple of others said, read the full directions first and be organized. The assembly took about 90 minutes. It seems pretty durable and is not an eye sore by any means. One thing to consider is that its profile is bigger than the dimensions given because of the turning radius. When turned it will extend to about 29-30 inches from the wall. Its easy to turn and does hold a lot of stuff.

Love it - with DYI initial assembly part upgrade/modification
Just assembled and loaded full with DVDs. (Not an over time longevity review).Inspected all parts before assembly - did not want to find issues that would require return while half or fully assembles. All parts seemed ok. I would recommend checking all the shelf hardware holes prior to assembly. After assembly I found several holes that were not quite the diameter for the shelf hardware. Once assembled I could not get my drill positioned to hit them for the correct diameter. I was able to force the plastic pegs in the holes but would have been nicer to hit them with a quick drill before assembly. This was only an issue for holes on the thin larger sides that had holes.Researched before buying and was not confident in the plastic lazy susan piece that came with the unit would hold up over time. For $17 I ordered a 12" Shepard lazy susan -https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00004YOKA?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1Fairly easy to lay out and mark the metal lazy susan for installation. Required 8 pilot holes - and 1 large hole to access 4 of those 8 pilot holes (followed a you tube video for how-to).Easy assembly - not complex and not a lot of parts. Did the lazy susan one evening and top/bottom prep 1st evening; assembled some of the insides the next morning before work; Completed assembly that evening after work.Looks great.Works great.Exactly what we needed to store a bunch of DVDs in a small space in the living room.Con -I thought the price was a little high - but it was the only thing like it I could find in a cherry wood finish.I do recommend the product - especially with the lazy susan modification. It may be fine with the original part - I just wanted to be proactive from the beginning. I did not want to have to "fix" this piece in a few years. Hope this helps.

Good size and quality
This is a very heavy duty and sturdy piece. I was able to build it by myself. The directions are clear and easy. Fits quite a lot of DVDs/blurays, which is what I got it for. No issues with parts or any damages. Overall im very happy with this rack.

Great media tower, with minor flaws
This media tower was one of the easiest assemblies I have had with only 5-6 steps. The media tower does feel flimsy but gets more sturdy once you get the top installed. The shelves can be setup to hold CD size cases or DVD size cases. The only issue I have with this stand is that you lose the visibility of one case if you use all the space on the shelf. I will also miss the ability to have power ran to shelves for certain collectables that run on power. The cost vs quality is great and I am 100 percent happy with this purchase. It was delivered in two days even though the estimate was a week.

Great unit!
Great unit! I followed other reviewers’ advice (lay everything out, verify you have everything, follow directions) and it went together without a hitch. It definitely takes time, but the instructions even include the shelf positions to get the most CDs, DVDs, etc. in the unit. The only “con” I can come up with is that the carousel piece seems flimsy. Now, I don’t plan on spinning this unit a lot (my Christmas CDs will be in the back side), and when I do turn it, I will be ever so gentle, so I’m not concerned, but it’s worth mentioning. All things considered, I recommend this storage unit.

Nice, but lightly constructed.
These shelves are attractive, and easy to assemble, with unusually clear directions. They are also perfectly sized for most vintage books. The pictures in the listing show them holding cased CDs and DVDs, though, and I think this is probably more what they were designed to do. The actual shelves are made of 1/4" (!) hardboard (Masonite). Each shelf is just a foot long, so it may be adequate, but they probably would do better with a lighter load. Time will tell, I guess. Also, be advised that you get NO extra hardware. It's going to get frustrating, if you happen to lose/break one. The shelves are adjustable, but only up to a point. You can choose spacing for either CDs or DVDs/VHS, and nothing else. There are places up to 5 inches long where there are just no mounting holes for putting a shelf. My books fit quite well in the VHS configuration, though, so it wasn't an issue, for me.
