This really is a good piece of kit doesn't weigh a great deal and is very versatile, will illuminate the bivvy easily and will indicate if the buzzers are having a run.Battery time is excellent although I don't do long stints in my bivvy anymore it has lasted 2 sessions 2 days at a time.It can be easily charged with a usb lead provided,I charge mine in my car which I must admit I haven't had to do so far as it has lasted.The case it comes in is very hardy and durable.

The light is very good quality and easy to setup up to my watch and alarms

Brand new out the box working....Within less than a week WILL NOT sync with alarms, alarms triggered but the light WILL NOT turn on.....Utter rubbish returned for full refund within 30 days.I'll get one from a camping shop 1/2 the price too....

The ND bivvy light has performed well. I bought it in summer so not a great time to use it with long days but on a recent trip to France it received a good test. The weather was appalling but the light worked well despite pretty heavy handed treatment from the wind and rain. It is easy to sync with the S9 ND alarms and it stays illuminated for just enough time if you have a liner etc just to see what is happening. If you want it to remain on whilst playing the fish you will need the ND smart band which again syncs to the light and alarms. The goose-neck to back plate is great for self takes as the white light provides a nice level to do this. The phone feature works well and if like me you dont want to get out of your bag un-necessarily you will find this a good feature. A couple of changes my be useful. Firstly the the band only syncs with the white light, that's ok if you need lots of light but as we know when playing a fish or casting a red light is preferable. A movement sensor could also be a useful upgrade again if you are outside the bivvy needing a more subtle light, I hope this helps

Fantastic product from ND the headtorch I can't wait to try out , I have bought the headtouch , bivvy light ,alarms and wristband which all syncs together easy enough . All working brilliantly !
