I really enjoyed using both products. I give it an A+ on the first time using. I did a light prepoo first. Then I shampooed once with the Aveda Brilliant shampoo, hair was tangled free after rinsing. Now, when I applied the biotin shampoo my hair felt very nourished, lathered very well, the suds were very white and rich, indicator that my hair was cleaned and taking the biotin shampoo well. After rinsing my hair felt a little dry, which I expected , it’s a strengthening shampoo. The conditioner gave me the right amount of moisture needed to run my shower comb through without any tangles and lost of hair. I let it sit for 10 minutes, while rinsing with lukewarm water my hair felt very hydrated. my 4A curls was light and fluffy, what I was hoping for. I applied my soultantical deep conditioner, after rinsing with cool water which gave me just enough moisture to feel all my curls as I touched them, my curls felt thicker, defined and hydrated but light. I will be using this for the next 6 weeks with this same routine. I will purchase again. Bottom line, my curls loved this combo, my hair responded very well, with just the shampoo and conditioner my hair thanked me before ever using the light deep conditioner. My hair wasn’t weighed down so my leave in conditioner was the perfect last step for hydration and moisture, to seal all that good moisture in 😉.

I have been using this product for a while and must say it really helps my hair grow thicker and stay healthy. The product's scent is an orange tangy scent which is very refreshing. I would totally recommend this product to people who have thin hair and I have been personally very satisfied with the product.

I don't enjoy the smell at all, and it dried my hair out a ton. I hate wasting products and will usually use them even if I don't like them, but these ones I am throwing out

Purchased based on natural ingredients and need to address excessive hair shedding. This product worked great to not only make my hair soft and shiny, but to also look and feel like it has more weight and volume. I even evidenced for myself the shedding I had after each wash-- went down quite visibly once I started the shampoo and conditioner system. Unfortunately, I discovered that I overdosed on biotin (I also take a women's multivitamin that contains 500% of daily recommended values). After 3 weeks of then adding this haircare routine, I broke out into itchy hives on my neck and ears that necessitated a doctor's visit. I learned that there is such a thing as BIOTIN OVERDOSE. Putting this warning out there given the prevalence of biotin in women's various products. One thing the OD can contribute to is acne on the chin and jawline, and miscarriages- so please beware of these little known warnings that biotin-containing products don't acknowledge (can be verified with a quick internet search). Aside from my individual factors that lead me to discontinue use of this and all biotin-containing products for now, this is a great hair care system so long as you're not over-doing it on the biotin front. Please be aware that it's very rare to actually have a biotin deficiency, so if you add biotin to your regimen, I recommend waiting 1 month after each biotin-containing product to know what your individual threshold is.

Very expensive and I feel it doesn't work as recommended

Amazing, my hair began to feel fuller in about a 2 weeks after using I have a ton of new growth. Thank you Avalon. I will be trying more of these products. Excellent!

I’ve been hunting for a shampoo and conditioner that thickens hair and creates volume, is highly rated by the EWG-Skin Deep website, and doesn’t cost a fortune. I’ve found it. This duo increases volume (something my fine hair needs), leaving it feeling fresh and shiny. It has a pleasant minty smell and the shampoo lathers well. It doesn’t have sodium laureth sulfate, synthetic colors, fragrances, phthalates, or GMO’s. The products haven’t been tested on animals. I’ve added these products to my regular hair care routine.

My hair was losing its natural curl a bit and I had different textures throughout my hair, and trying to gently untangle it still caused beakage. I used the shampoo, applied this conditioner, and sat 7nder a heated cap for 20 minutes. When I removed the cap ALL of my curls were back and bouncing! It was like magic. Truly, my hair was full 9f thick, uniformed curls after ONE use and I am thrilled. I'd used Shea Moisture products before this and they were good, but this transformed my hair.

WHat aproducts..richness beyond belief...give new meaning to inriched hair

I really like the product, so I bought it 2 times.. but last time I received other product... I realized it when I already used it during my shower.. so please be careful with the next shipment
