I've used Brickell face products for years, as well as their shampoo and conditioner. I was looking for a new pomade, so figured I'd give theirs a try as they typically are solid on using quality ingredients. My hair is full but thin and I typically don't let it grow beyond three inches on top / shorter on the sides. The pomade is of a thick, smooth consistency with grip; quite tacky, as it should be. A little goes a long way and it's overall easy to apply. The instructions note that it's best applied to dry hair, but I found that it was tougher to run through my hair when dry (maybe because my hair is thin) -- so I apply when my hair has just a touch of dampness and it's been great. Hold is strong so my hair stays in place all day. There is a nice, light peppermint scent that is noticeable but not overpowering. Based on my daily use, I'd expect the container to last six weeks or so. One of my issues with some pomades is that they are tough to wash out, so you get build up over the course of its use, among other issues. That is not an issue with this product -- rinses out very well even without shampoo. Probably a testament to the cleaner product list. My girlfriend is a fiend when it comes to ingredients, and she gives this product a stamp of approval for my everyday use. Overall, this will be my new go-to pomade and would recommend to anyone looking for a quality men's product.

This Brickell product is pliable and easy to work with; it’s got a slight pleasant scent and strong, matte hold, keeping my hair styled all day without getting heavy and greasy like other products. I’ve tried all sorts of different creams and pomades, many recommended by my hair stylist. For the most part, these have been sticky and more difficult to apply and much more expensive. I also like Brickell’s ‘Styling Clay Pomade’ but the Strong Hold Texturizer is lighter while also keeping my hair in place better. I’m not sure how that’s possible, but I love it. Great price, great product - highly recommend!!

I've decided on a more mature hairstyle these days, from the spiked, messed up surfer look to a cleaner, slicked back style my great-grandfather would have approved. He was Sicilian, so I trust his opinion. I've tried many different products, mostly pomade. Some held well, but were too oily and took literally three shampoos to wash out. Some were too shiny, some not enough hold, etc. Then I remembered a sample box from Brickell I had a couple years ago and how pleased I was with their products, and I'm glad I gave their texturizing pomade a try. It wasn't quite the hold I needed when my hair was longer, but once I got it trimmed, it was the perfect product. Just as advertised, it gave a great hold with minimal shine while adding some texture that the other products did not. Best with medium-short hair. Would buy again.

For years, I've had very short hair. Nearly a high & tight. Recently, I've been growing my hair out a bit and I've been trying different hair products for what seems like forever. I've tried Redkin, American Crew, some other foofy brand names recommended by the hair stylist. None seemed to work. They were either too sticky, or too dry, or too greasy. Since I use Brickell skin products I tried this pomade on a whim. And honestly, not turning back. It works great! It's not heavy, it keeps a nice hold without making my hair all stiff, washes out easy and smells nice. I've seen some reviews here that say it doesn't hold well enough. Depends on what you're seeking, but I didn't want that super firm hold where my hair looked like a plastic toupee. I wanted to be able to have my girl run her hands through my hair and have it still keep it's shape. This product does that. Best one I've tried so far. So, depending on your look or desire, if you want something that keeps a good hold, doesn't get dry or spikey or stiff, doesn't get greasy or heavy, then this is it! I'll be using this from here on out.
