Sicario / Sicario 2: Soldado - 2 Movie Collection [DVD] [2018]

Sicario and its sequel are vivid powerful films that blur the lines between how the "good guys" operate to win the battles against the cartels. It is cerebral as well as action packed. Our story in the first film opens up with a horrible scene of dead bodies found inside the walls of a drug house. Enter an idealistic by the book FBI agent played by Emily Blunt working with a more seasoned and cynical Josh Brolin who will do anything to bring the war to the cartels using a brilliant Benecio Del Toro to help him do what he needs to do to win much to the chagrin of Blunt's character. This is a classic film which illustrates the Black Ops missions used by law enforcement to stop the spread of illegal guns and drugs flowing back and forth on both sides of the border.The sequel Day of the Soledad follows Bencio Del Toro's character as he takes revenge on those who hurt his family and infiltrate another family cartel by kidnapping the daughter of a kingpin. Not as powerful as the first film, but just as haunting as the film makers use the background in Mexico's border towns to illustrate the horrors people in those towns live with when the cartels use terror to subjugate the populace through daily acts of violence and terror.The viewer should ask themselves this one question. Is Mexico's cartel problem driven not only by American demand for narcotics but its obsession with a culture of gun violence.

THESE DVD'S DOES NOT RUN IN AMERICA. I TRIED IN TWO DVD'S AND DID NOT WORK. IT IS SET UP FOR ANOTHER COUNTRY. DO NOT BUY. YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR MONEY.

Had to replace because daughter kept taking it.

These are two great movies!

If i could give zero stars I would.. This doesn't even work outside of the UK and they claim it's clearly written on the description. However, it's clearly written on the case that they are not supposed to be selling this item outside of the UK unless they have permission from the manufacturer which they do NOT! Then forget trying to return it cause it'll cost you more then it's worth.

For some reason it will not work on our DVD player. It arrived from Belgium, so I don’t know if they have different DVD players.

Yo!!! Dont drunk buy this...only plays on European players..now i gotta buy a European BluRay player just to enjoy this movie...which i probably will have to buy a European tv for it..do European sound systems sound different?

Older dmv players will not work with the european cd's the new dmv players can be formatted. You should inform the customer.....

A superior "double bill" of action well worth the modest cost The first film Sicario sets the stage for its very topical subject in fine style, with Sicario 2 following on in satisfying fashion. A "must" for action film fans.

Ja ich habe mich vergriffen, ja ich kann kein englisch so gut als das ich die Filme hätte behalten wollen, aber dass ich noch kein Geld zurück bekommen habe ist enttäuschend. Deshalb nur ein Stern.

Both of these movies were amazing, but highly recommended. Very entertaining and violent. But with the subjective that's been dealt with, I think that it worth it.
