Why did you pick this product vs others?: These are great lights have been going strong for months, then one night a strand stopped working. Come to find out it had water intrusion inside the charging / control panel as it turns out, when you put these out make sure the wire comes out the bottom and not the top. My mistake. I bought another set to replace, the one strand. Did I say, they stay lit all night long? They do!

Bought these lights July 2024.. through snow, rain and wind these lights have never failed me. I love the glow at night. We hung them on a lattice over my entry way to my yard. I will be buying again to add more to my garden areas. It truly looks magical.

Came back to update my review. These are the best solar string lights I've used yet. They were wonderful over Christmas, giving us beautiful, twinkling colored lights throughout most of the evening. Now, I've switched back to the steady white, and didn't have to change out anything. Highly recommend!! I WISH this company would make these same lights with white wiring, rather than green, so that I could use them on our archway. ____ Previous review So far I'm loving these lights. I have 2 fir trees out in front of our house, and I've always kept white solar lights on them throughout the year. Then, at Christmas, I have to string colored lights as well, which is a pain, especially when taking them down, as they get tangled in with my white lights. I've had really good luck with the white solar lights, as they last a long time, but the solar colored lights just don't last long enough and are too dim. I've ended up having to use electric lights, which is a pain. Decided to give these a try, and I've been impressed with the white lights, which are bright and last for a good while. Now, however, comes the true test, as I will be switching to colored / twinkling lights for Christmas... so we'll see if they continue to perform. I'll update my rating and review as more is revealed.

I waited a couple weeks to review this to give them a chance. The first day they were great. They stayed lit till past 11 p.m.. Then every day after that they'd stay lit for 30 minutes to an hour. So I finally realized which direction the sun was coming from and moved the solar panel thing. Still only stayed lit for about the same time period but in all fairness it's been cloudy in New York. So I still gave it another chance. I have one set on my porch mixed with led electrical lights so it's not as embarrassing when they don't work. Then I wrapped the other set on a front tree. The front tree, what a disappointment. Today I decided to rearrange the lights on the tree after the panel has been in direct sunlight for a fully 24-48 hours, just rearranged the wiring because I thought it could use improvement on the tree. Well . . . now they won't work AT ALL. This literally just occurred. It just got dark outside and I thought maybe I accidentally turned them off when I rearranged them - no. They just simply stopped working altogether. Very disgusted, not to mention it's embarrassing. But I'm gonna go ahead and buy LED electrical lights for the tree. Don't waste your money. UPDATE: They're so pretty that I had to come back and update. I kept them up like I said, and after I took down my other x-mas lights (the electrical ones after the holiday) I decided to keep my fairy lights up because they're fairy lights and they can stay up year round if you feel like it. They did end up working again. They're harder to stay lit on cloudy days. And I think what caused the problem before was that we had a lot of ice around that time period, but thankfully the problem corrected itself. They're gorgeous when they light up, so even though they don't stay lit long on cloudy days it's worth it - that' show pretty they are when they're lit. Plus you're not wasting energy, win, win. I only took away one star for cloudy days. When they're lit they're five stars.

These lights stay on all night and the length is great. Not bright like a night light but really stand out in the dark. Love these and plan on ordering more. The amount of sun the solar panel gets may effect how long they stay on, but mine come on at dark and are still lit up when i get up in the morning.

Very disappointed! I got these because there are limited or no outlets outside, and the reviews here were favorable. Very Suspect 🤔 They don't come on until it's completely dark. I enjoy lights that are on as the Blue Hour descends. Once they come on, they are very dim and only last a few hours. I actually feel embarrassed, as these are kind of a joke, in my opinion. Because of my age, I had to pay someone to string these in a tree. So I've wasted money, energy, time and hope on what I hoped would be a vision for everyone to enjoy on. Not as advertised string lights ... And, have had to figure out alternatives and purchase plug in lights. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! Don't waste a moment on these solar lights... Any of them! In my opinion, solar string lights are do not remotely meet any enjoyable 'viewing' standards.

The lights are easy to install. Not overly bright but perfect for my use. Comes with a remote which is simple to use. You have to turn it on, the button is on the back, so the unit will charge. Remember to clean the snow off the solar unit otherwise it will not charge.
