It appear to be a good quality product
These will definitely serves the purpose for our upcoming projects this Summer. It appear to be a good quality product, sharp and it makes neat and clean holes. This set comes in a small carrying case for safe keeping. Drill bits are on metric sizes which is what my husband is looking for. We are pleased with this purchased so far! For the price, you can’t beat the value.

Best Deal! Lot less than Ace
Great product for drilling in Lexan. Ace wanted $54 for same drill bit. Completed the job flawlessly.

Great for the price.
First off all 3 bits do cut an they do deburr as it cuts. the spiral design is better then the standard design. BUT. The Titanium coating is to thin. After just 1 use most of the coating was warn off. They may not last as long as other bits but because they cut better I may consider ordering again.Update. Have had bits for several weeks now. I use them a few times a week. They seem to be of same quality or better as some $25 step bit sets I have used. I will definitely order again.

These step drill bits are a good value for the price
These step drill bits are a good value for the price. They come in one plastic bag but they weren't chipped at all. The spiral flute makes them aggressive when drilling. If not using a drill press be sure to brace the drill well because it will want to torque you and pull into the material. Other reviews mentioned that and they're not joking. But if you brace yourself well and drill in short bursts, preferably using cutting oil when drilling metals of course, you can cut pretty good holes. As usual with step drill bits if the material is not thin (under 1.5mm thick) the whole won't have a smooth vertical surface, you'll see a step. That's to be expected though so don't be surprised.

Ok - with a drill press
I bought these step drill bits because I needed to make a 24mm diameter hole in 15 gauge steel. I originally had this review at 2 stars, but bumped it up to three.First, all three bits were bagged together. As a result, the cutting edges were rather dinged up. On top of that, you can tell that the attention to detail finishing the edges is lacking. Lots of burrs and rough patches. But at ~$15 for three bits, it's about the level of quality I was expecting. Also, they're covered in some sticky schmoo - probably cutting oil or something that they didn't clean off from the manufacturing process. At first, I thought the spiral groove was a gimmick. I'm not entirely convinced that it isn't, but it's not as bad as I originally thought. I cut the first hole using a hand drill and had basically decided these were garbage (I used the hand drill because my box was already filled with electronic bits that don't play nice with metal shavings, so I had to cut the hole with the lid open). I decided to set up the second box in the drill press just to see if it worked any better. Much to my surprise, it actually cut very well using the drill press. Now, the problem with using a hand drill is that the spiral groove actually makes the cut too aggressive. The bit digs in to the metal and binds, then the drill tries to torque your arm off. With a standard "straight groove" step drill, the chips are pushed more horizontally from the cutting surface than vertically, which means it's more difficult to bind the bit.Anyway, if you're using a decently sized drill press and need these to make a couple of metric holes then I'd say you're good to go with these. If you're using a hand drill or you need to make a million holes, go with a traditional step bit from a higher quality manufacturer.

Great for drone props
Bought these to fit normal 10" props on DJI slotted motors aka cheap 920kv from China. They work great but you should balance the props after you drill them out to 8mm. I cut them so a prop shim (little black things that come with props) fits snug when pressed onto the motor.

Good for sheet metal
About the same as what you would get at Harbor freight. Good for light guage sheet metal. Better than spending 40-60 on one at home depot if you dont need a heavy duty one. Plus fits in impact

Na twee keer gebruiken al bot.
Gebruikt om gaten in ijzer plaat te boren. Na twee keer gebruik is de boor al bot en kunnen de overige gaten niet meer geboord worden.
