I bought this to use with my Fujifilm XT-4, knowing that it wouldn’t support all the feature integration of a more dedicated flash. I’m a little embarrassed to admit that ai had trouble getting the first unit I received to work properly and returned it for a replacement (fast, simple, totally painless, thank you Amazon). It turns out that there’s a quirk that make the flash misfunction if the pop-up wide angle diffuser isn’t fully seated when not in use. That little issue solved, I’m quite happy with the flash. It’s not a powerhouse, but there’s plenty of light to bounce off ceilings in normal sized rooms, and it’s compact and light. Works well with regular alkaline or rechargeable AA cells.

Good product however the battery compartment doesn’t keep up. Sometimes the flash will shoe battery and then wont be able to read it causing misfiring or delays.

Small but ‘smart’ and powerful, the flash mates up perfectly with my Fujifilm X100vi, and is way better than the camera’s built-in flash

Plenty of other reviews for this flash. It's excellent. But do you want the rechargeable option or the AA version? I owned the same model for Canon, paying more for the rechargeable battery version. In hindsight, that was a waste of money. I wanted one for Fuji cameras so to save $$ I went with the AA version, simultaneously purchasing a set of 4 EBL 2,800mAh high capacity rechargeable batteries in a kit with a small "travelable" charger. I recently did an entire wedding and reception (night, indoor) with one set of batteries (had an extra set in my pocket), so depending on your use case, the AA battery version of this excellent small flash might be all you need.

I barely used this flash, I just needed a back up for portraits, I was just dipping my toes into flash photography and used this less than six times. I put in in the sleeve it came with, without batteries, came back after a month and the thing won't turn on at all. I've tried many sets of working batteries and tried every button combo and the unit is completely dead. If you want to spend $90 on a flash you can use five times than this flash is for you.

Great flash , it’s very compact, throw it in your camera bag and forget it’s there until you need it. Runs on AA batteries, good battery life . Very pleased with Godox

Der Blitz macht qualitativ keinen schlechteren Eindruck als der Cactus RF 60, der ebenfalls sehr solide verarbeitet ist. Der Blitz arbeitet so, wie er soll: Sowohl TTL als auch HSS funktionierten auf Anhieb sehr gut. So erhält man selbst bei indirektem Blitzen gegen eine weiße Wand bei Blende 1.2 und Verschlusszeiten um die 1/500 s in Innenräumen sehr schöne Ergebnisse. Natürlich muss man die ISO-Werte im Schnitt 1-2 Stufen höher einstellen als bei größeren Blitzen. Aber das ist beim Blick auf die Leitzahl 36 auch zu erwarten. Positiv überrascht hat mich außerdem, dass sich der Blitz fast vollständig über das Blitzmenü der Fuji X-T2 bedienen lässt! Selbst die automatische Zoomfunktion (Änderung des Blitzreflektors in Abhängigkeit von der Objektivbrennweite) funktioniert. Der Blitz ist sehr klein und leicht und passt so leicht in jede kleinere Fototasche. Ein wenig überrascht war ich davon, dass gerade verfügbare „Standard-Batterien" (2 x IKEA AA) nur gefüllte 30 Blitze im HSS-Modus durchgehalten haben. Gute "Blitzakkus" sind also Pflicht. Für mich war dieser Blitz mehr ein Test, ob ich in das Godox-System weiter investieren werde oder nicht. Godox hat ja ein sehr umfassendes Programm an portablen Studioblitzen, die in Verbindung mit HSS an der Fuji derzeit ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal darstellen. Stand heute (nur erster Testeinsatz) kann ich diesen Blitz zumindest voll empfehlen, zumal der Preis ein echter Knaller ist.

Sono completamente soddisfatto, tenete conto che le mie esigenze non sono eccessive, per chi necessita di maggiore potenza è meglio che si rivolga a modelli superiori esempio GODOX V860 III. Questo flash per qualità prezzo è imbattibile

I have been totally new to photography this year and one of the main things I wanted to add to my kit was a flash. This one had great reviews and certainly wasn'y going to break the bank. I wanted it mainly for doing any indoor photography and I also really like macro photography (insects etc) and this is a great way to improve the quality of the shots as you often need to use high shutter speeds and sometimes in low light. I was able to use the flash right out of the box with very little understanding of the settings and I'm sure my usage will continue to grow as I get to grips with what it can so. If you're thinking about getting a flash for your Fujifilm x series then this is a superb entry point.
