KENZO D'ETE is my signature fragrance. It smells of a fresh, ultra luscious, fragrantly opulent green garden bouquet of flowers without being to overpowering. I have been wearing this scent for more than 20 years. The bottle design has changed over the years, but the scent remains the same. The bottle lays flat on its side, so it takes up extra space on my perfume vanity, which I'm not crazy about, but it does make the bottle unique from anything else out there. Every time I wear D'ETE I get stopped and asked what I am wearing. I actually hate telling people what my signature scent is because I am afraid they will all start to wear and buy it and it will no longer be my coveted little secret. My husband loves this fragrance on me, the problem is so does everyone else! Lol. Since I wear this fragrance almost daily, I can tell you the fragrance is not overwhelmingly strong, but does have a long wear life. I usually do not have to touch up my fragrance until the afternoon. If you are buying this for you or someone else, I can tell you that you will fall in love with this scent. Amazon sells it at such a great price and shipping is reliable that I always buy them two at a time.

I've been anticipating the purchase of this perfume for SO long. Once I got it...hmm. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't smell bad at all; I just feel as if I had smelled it before...a long time ago. The primary reason Kenzo is my all time favorite fragrance is because of how great they are at being unique. I pride myself in being able to have someone do a double take when I walk by and ask "Oh my goodness, what is that beautiful scent?". But with this one everyone guesses (VERY wrong, may I add lol) becauses it smells so familiar. Like I said, it isn't a bad scent. Very light and summery...it just doesn't fit my desire for something different. If you are looking for something basic that smells nice with no real Wow Factor, this is it. UPDATE: MAY 2, 2013 I am suddenly in love with this scent! It must have grown on me; at one point I was only wearing it for work and then I found myself wearing it when I went out and about. Have you ever randomly caught a whiff of yourself and was pleasantly caught off guard? Like "wow, is that me?!"? That's how it happened lol I think the difference with this one is spraying it on your skin when you're fresh out the shower versus just spraying it on your clothes. Anyway, imagine walking through a botanical garden, in the Spring, after a light rain. That's the best way I can describe it's aroma and it's absolutely lovely. I hope this update provides better insight than the initial one did; I'm sorry I ever doubted you, Kenzo! lol

Nice floral scent, not very strong, lasts relatively long. My spouse has had several, fresh, floral scent perfumes, eau de toilette, this is her favorite. Price is very good for such a good perfume.

Wow I love lily of the valley dioridsimo but very expensive this perfume is awesome pure lily of the valley and lasts sooo long.
