Fit my skimmer opening perfectly and sealed well. Great value for the money.

I had to trim it on one side about 1/4" to fit my skimmer, but I would rather have to trim from it than to have a small plug. It does a great job. No more need to drain the pool, and to add water for reopening the pool.

This item works well to prevent water from entering the skimmer area. It will last about two years, I've used/ordered before and used. The expansion type foam on it will eventually give up.

Worked mostly as expected but water does weep through slightly, be sure to remove your skimmer hoses & leave the hose port open so water will not accumulate & freeze.

For about 20 years I've tried various solutions to sealing the skimmer for the winter. Until this product, I've always had some leakage. I've had this through two winters (well, about 2 months to go) and it seals perfectly. It's a little snug to install, but I use Magic Lube or similar product which helps with installation as well as sealing. Much easier than removing skimmer face plate screws as was needed for prior versions that I used, which were never 100% effective, as this one is. Would absolutely buy again.

Installed it Dec 8th and lightly tapped into place. Very snug fit and it was working till today when it started to leak. It can not withstand the pressure of the ice formation as the inner foam deforms with the pressure of the ice formation. Need to find one with a rubber gasket which can flex as the foam is a poor choice.

Works great. If you have to trim edges down use a hot utility knife makes for a smoother cut. Don’t cut exactly leave about a1/4 in extra

Excellent product - fit as advertised and easy to install. So far, is sealing water from entering the skimmer without any additional o-ring sealant. I was also pleasantly surprised to discover that the product was made in USA!
