These are great glass rectangle bowls with bamboo lids - they have silicone rims so they seal nicely. I love them. Hold about 2 cups? Wash glass bottoms go in the dishwasher, I hand wash the bamboo lids. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. we're trying to stop using plastic and these are a great choice. There are other glass ones but the snap lids tend to break down. Hoping these last longer. With this set I like that they are all a good useful size rather than having several small ones included.

We bought this product in January 2024 and it’s been great. I was even planning to feature it in our newsletter—so I was surprised to see people claiming it’s “frequently returned.” Here’s my experience after nearly two years of daily use: Glass quality: Durable, solid, not cheap or brittle. Like Pyrex, if you drop it, sure—it might break. We haven’t broken one yet (though someone did “borrow” one permanently—that’s on us, not the manufacturer). Bamboo lids: Clean, sturdy, easy to use. I’ve never lost one, but I constantly lose or crack plastic lids. The trick is to keep them clean and dry after washing. We meal prep with these daily. Note: I don’t use the lid as a cutting board (as pictured). That would obviously wear it down faster—knives aren’t exactly gentle. Also we always hand wash with soap and a mild brush and then dry on counter. Airtight comments: A rigid bamboo lid doesn’t have the flex of plastic. If you overfill, it won’t stay airtight. Simple fix: don’t overfill, or use a rubber band if you want extra snugness. The seals are still solid after two years. I’ll update if one ever fails. Bottom line: I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again. Just apply common sense—these are sustainable bamboo lids, not plastic snap-ons.

After reading some reviews, I was uncertain whether to buy this product or not, so I decided to write my own review. So its definitely a container you buy more for aesthetic reasons than for practical purposes. Its beautiful and all of mine arrived intact and in prefect condition. It functions appropriately in the sense that you can store food in it and the lid will shut appropriately. HOWEVER, if you fill the container up too full, the lid will not seal. Most containers I've had in the past, the lid will push the contents down a bit and complete a tight seal. This container does not, unless you stack something else on top of it or keep constant pressure. As for the comments about the bamboo lid. I hand wash the lids. In my experience, bamboo doesn't do well in the dishwasher and will "curl" and change its form, such that the lid might no longer fit the container. Bottom line is I'll definitely buy this again b/c it serves its purpose and looks good in my kitchen. But I probably wouldn't use this container if I need to bring food to work as the seal on the lid is not superb.

Perfect for lunches!

I like that these are small/shallow and I knew that. What I didn’t know is that you can’t stack the glassware in itself or they get completely stuck. I had the glass nesting and the lids separate in a drawer. The glass pieces would not come apart. I ending up breaking one while trying.

the glass container is nice, but the bamboo lids splinter very easily. One of the lids already has a crack and is breaking and ive only used it once....
