Skin friendly. Smooth shave. High quality. Good value.
It is good to have the option for a shave from a tube. And this one is a really solid option. The quality of the shave is excellent. It can be applied by hand or using a brush.Lathers well.Smells good.Comfortable on even more sensitive skin.Have used this for years - and then had some difficulty finding it.It seemed to completely disappear form the American market. Was able to find an Eastern European release.I think this one may be a re-release into US - with a slight change in formula?I preferred the older scent a bit more, but the current scent is fine.Absolutely recommended. This could become your daily.

Create good foam during shaving.
I used this cream for few years, though currently it is not readily available. It is a good shaving cream, create good amount of foam which help in good shaving. It is not also costly. In this time it is arrived quickly from Amazon.

Smooth, Moisturizing, Affordable Shave
Best travel shaving cream you can buy. This is a German product, and the Europeans really know their toiletries. Stuff in the US is over-foamy, loaded with fragrance and marketing nonsense. This is simply a great, slick, smooth, moisturizing shave cream that lathers better than most I’ve tried. You only need a very small amount. I imagine this bottle will last me at least 6 months of shaving every other day.

Not the old Beirsdorf, but still the best. Price increase!
I started using the original "Florena" by Biersdorf after a trip to Germany. The absolutely best stuff, and e2.00 in any drugstore in Germany. Then Nivea bought Beirsdorf, halved the ingredients list (probably took out the most expensive botanicals), and slapped Nivea on it in huge letters (and removed "Florena"). It is still a great shave cream, but not as good as the original Florena by Biersdorf. With the Nivea purchase, it became available in Canada widely, i.e. at Shoppers Drug Mart for Cdn$2.For some reason, Nivea will not bring this to the US! Only available in the US on Amazon and a few other online retailers like Naturitas. I previously bought this tube on Amazon for $3.99. Now its $9.99? WTF? That's not Amazon, that's "Overseas Market". Oh well. Until COVID is over and I can get to Canada (or Germany), this is it.Tip: I always have at least 2 tubes on the go. I take the tube down to 1/2 or 1/3rd and put it in my dop kit for travel. At 100ml it is TSA approved for travel, but 100ml would last months. A third of a tube is lighter, smaller, and will still last many weeks. With COVID restricting travel, I have about four half-tubes waiting for travel to resume.Note: minus one star for the recent dramatic price increase. Twice foreign retail was OK for an imported premium product delivered to your door but 5x retail? Seems like robbery.

Minimizes nicks!
For years, I have used shaving gel in a can. But now I have become a convert to this Nivea shave cream! I apply it by simply rubbing it on. No mug and brush. It sticks well to the face and forms a highly lubricated substrate. Really minimizes nicks and cuts!!! It has a simple mild fragrance. I bought it for travel as a single tube, and recently bought the four-pack. The term “shaving cream” is generic, but this product is a rich cream for real. For now, I’m trying to use up my cans of gel during the week, and saving this good stuff for weekends. It’s one of these “why didn’t I use this sooner” situations. Thank you Nivea for a great product!!!

Will definitely buy again.
I've been using their shave cream that comes in a pump jar and love it. Can't find it so ordered this one in the tube. Works fine for me. I have not experienced clogged razors like some mention and the shave itself is smooth,Will definitely buy again.

Mixed bag
This is hard to judge. My tube came looking like someone had mangled it so the cap is a little hard to screw on. It's very thick and have to add a lot of water to get it to spread well. However it is very slick when gives a really nice shave without much razorburn. It is so thick, that even when lathered and used sparingly, it doesn't rinse out of the razor real well. You can manage it, but there are better products out there. Scent intensity is a little on the strong side for me, but no worse than most other creams. If you get razor burn easily, it is really, really good in that regard, so might be worth overlooking it's other flaws.

Best shave cream ever.
By far the best shave cream I've ever used in my entire life, and I've used a lot. Also, I've been shaving for work for at least 45 years so lots of experience. Goes on smooth, allows close shave with no razor burns and offers a great cushion. I use my hands/fingers to apply but you can get fancy and use a brush and cup. Never get irritations, burns, bumps nothings, and I sometimes shave twice a day. Hope they keep selling it.
