I read a number of reviews of these plates and almost didn't place an order. One reviewer said that Spode plates were now made in Malaysia, another said the white was more creamy color, another said there were design flaws in a plate. I went ahead and ordered the set anyway, and couldn't be more pleased. First of all, the back of the plates clearly say "made in England," the designs were perfect and the white of the plate matches my set of blue Italian Spode dinner plates. I wanted to mix and match so I had different disigns on some plates. The quality looks the same to me as the Italian plates which were also made in England. Couldn't he happier. They were well packed, first in their own box inside an amazon box.

The dishes will be a perfect addition to my existing blue and white dinnerware. I might should have gotten 2 sets.

I inherited a collection of 18th and 19th century blue transferware. My collection can only be used for show. These plates can be put in the microwave and the dishwasher. The colors are bright and the transfer pattern is clean and sharp. While they are not thin they are a good weight and not too thick. This is an excellent buy!

Bought them for my wife for Christmas 2019, she absolutely loves them. The blue color is stunning and the plates are of excellent quality, I was amazed at the price of these seeing as they are so expensive if bought singularly. The back of the plates have a stunning motif. Another good thing is that they are not made in China, genuine quality from England.

The plates had pock marks on the back. They were apparently factory seconds but this was not noted on the description.

I was very pleased with the quality of the plates. They are beautiful! I was very disappointed that one arrived broken in pieces..

The Spode plates are all that I hoped they would be. Beautiful designs on all six plates.They will look great in my china cabinet for a blue and white theme display.

Nice reproduction, colour of the transfer is vibrant and the details are crisp. This set I got was made in England by Spode at Stoke-on-Trent, not by one of their off-shore sites.

Arrived safely to Australia and they're beautiful. One of them had a dirty back, which is odd, but nothing that wouldn't come off. Gorgeous!
