ASUS VivoBook E402YA 14" HD Laptop with Microsoft Office 365 (AMD E2-7015 Processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB eMMC, Windows 10 S, Amazon Exclusive)

Nice lap top a little slow but for its size great, its updating at the moment. It will do what I want and its light enough to carry. For us old timers we don't want heavy things to carry about. If you want a great Lap Top then this is the one to choose. and not to expensive. The lap top came well packed and secure.

Its not super speedy but it doesnt have to be for what you need it for. It should only be used for "small" purposes, ie childrens school work, back up for when you are in a jam etc. We are very pleased with it, came quickly, no trouble so far and its been a couple of months.

A neat little laptop, was bought purely for the wife to work from home. Turns out Windows 10s restricts it to using only the apps available from the windows App Store and NOTHING ELSE! When your company insists on using Google Chrome to access their systems Windows 10s is useless. Fear not though, there is a workaround. After googling a solution (on a sensible OS!) it turns out you can change it to windows 10, they don’t want you to do it but it doesn’t take long and Microsoft do all the work for you, it’s just a case of clicking the link and agreeing the T’s & C’s. That aside it’s a simple little laptop, not the quickest, but by no means unusable. Don’t expect it to be a super duper gaming computer because it’s not, but if you want it for emails, surfing the net or MS Office then this will do the job. I deducted one star because of having to swap the OS from Windows 10s to Windows 10.

I'm absolutely disgusted with the quality of the product and the customer service of ASUS! I purchased this laptop for my little sister as it is advertised as being perfect for students and she is starting college.. however this product was delivered WITHOUT a hard drive so it did not work at all. We called Amazon Tech support and they tried to help by getting us in contact with ASUS. When we spoke to ASUS we where informed (quite abruptly) that this was not bought through them but if we want to send it back for "repair" we could, so we did....This process took 10 days before the laptop was returned. The now "Fixed" laptop had a whole new set of problems.. it was Extremely slow even to load up a browser and we where unable to download the Microsoft apps that this product allegedly comes with because it had been shipped back to us in "Safe Mode".. AND we also noticed that attempting to open Microsoft resulted in the CPU hitting 100% so even if this laptop wasn't stuck in safe mode the CPU capacity would not allow for full use of this product anyway. We have now had to request a full refund as this product is just not fit for purpose. I would however like to thank Amazon tech support for trying to help resolve the issue. ASUS are incompetent. This is a gross misrepresentation of a product. Please don't waste your time and money like we did. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT OR FROM THIS SELLER.

Ideal BASIC Laptop for Browsing the Net, emails, Home Banking and the like, YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, iPlayer etc, copes with all of that with no problem, only had it 3 days with continuous daily use and put it through it’s paces without any trouble. Don’t expect a machine with blistering speed, you need to spend a lot more money if that’s what you want, what you do get is a light portable machine with WiFi, Bluetooth, 3XUSB’s, Memory card Reader, HDMI Port, Headphone/Microphone jack point and a RJ-45 Port for wired internet, Battery life seems fine and screen quality acceptable. As with most budget Laptop it comes without Optical Drive, but I purchased one from Amazon for just £15 to load my copies of Word, Publisher and a couple more programmes, only got 64GB memory but I have a stand alone 1TB drive for extra storage if needed. This was purchased to replace a 15 year old, very slow Dell Laptop the gave up the will, and died on me, this Laptop is a good all round replacement machine for general basic home use, at a very attractive price.

Bought this for a friend who has never owned a laptop, so I thought safe mode would be the best idea to keep it safe. Safe mode does present it's own challenges in terms of being forced to use the edge browser and the programs involved. It did take a while to set up and get everything right, but it ticks along fine. What it struggles with noticeably is running the webcam and microphone. It can't function if facebook is running in the background (facebook messenger has to be open in it's own tab) as this lags it, same if the computer needs to run an update. Good for word processing, using websites that don't run on mobile and social media but if you need to use the webcam and microphone I would say go for something a bit more powerful! Safe mode is a plus if it's for someone unfamiliar with laptops and the internet.

This is a fabulous laptop for its price ,Nothing fancy ,Screen very good , Keyboard nice ,loads up in 1 m6 sec , The longest part is the setup ,How where why and when ,!!! ,Apart from that it works well , laptop for normal day to day use, Easy to connect to printer ,WiFi .

This laptop is great value for money! It includes PowerPoint, word and excel for 1 year as well so perfect for completing all my coursework. It was a little slow when opening everything up, but once they were open everything ran at quite a good speed. Very happy with my purchase!
