Movie Monster Series Gamera (1995)

I recently purchased the Gamera (1995) toy for my 4-year-old, and I couldn't be happier with this purchase! This figurine is amazing and really is true to form with its design. Gamera looks amazing here with his sculpt and coloring and paint job doing wonders as far as accuracy is concerned. He’s a lot bigger than I expected and I mean that in the best of ways. He feels amazing to hold and I’m so happy to finally own a figure like this. Here’s hoping I get a Gyaos or a Viras one day from the movie monsters collection.

A surprisingly well-made figure that captures the likeness very well. It's not as super pose-able as some versions but it has as much range of motion as you could ask for in all but the most obsessed scenarios. It's the more detailed modern design of the character and seems reasonably sturdy, though I imagine it couldn't take too much abuse though not much can these days. A definite collectible for Gamera fans.

Speedy delivery and perfectly captures his likeness from the film. If you haven't seen the Heisei Gamera trilogy yet, check it out after reading this review. It's brimming with adorable 90's Kaiju cheese with great storytelling and lore.
