I was looking for an inexpensive way to light/highlight my walkway, and got what I wanted. They only lasted two seasons as I live in New England and the winter caused some of the lights to be shorted out from leaks from snow accumulation and melting. Make no mistake, I cleared the lights and kept them snow-free, but just too much moisture in the air. I'm sure that in a warmer & dry climate they would work much longer then they worked for me.

The lights shipped on time, but a globe was broken. I contacted them by phone and got a machine that directed me to use their e-mail after 10 minutes of waiting and listening to the count down. I e-mailed and they told me that they are just a dealer and could offer a replacement part for $9.00. Amazon came thought for me and gave me a full credit. AMAZON ROCKS.

We have a long driveway, so I got 2 sets (12 lamps total). Installation was as easy as it gets. Simply stick the lamps on the ground along each side of the driveway. I installed them in the morning so they could get a full charge. When night came, they automatically turned on. It looks amazing, very classy. At sunrise, they go off and start charging again. The lights are powered by the sunlight, so there are no wires. Note that they will still charge on a cloudy day. The lights are 2 LEDs with a lifetime of 100,000 hours each. So if you use them every night, you should not have to replace them for another 25 years or so. The charger is inside the lamp, under the solar panel. Each lamp uses 1 AA rechargeable battery (included and pre-installed) which can be recharged thousands of times. They require no maintenance whatsoever and won't affect your electricity bill. I could not be happier.
