Life changing!
I have completed the recipes of week 1 and I have to say that these recipes are absolutely delicious and easy to make. The information leading up to the recipes is reader friendly and incredibly helpful. The organization by week with shopping list is essential. I just took a pic of shopping list and found it all in the grocery store. Most of all, I am a different woman. I am no longer sleepy and I am not stiff. My body has not been achy at all. I have been sleeping deeply and my brain fog is completely gone. I know that weight loss is not a goal here, but I did lose 5 lbs in one week. Unbelievable! Food IS medicine and this book and these recipes prove it! Are there more recipe books coming? I think I can live off of these recipes for the rest of my life, if necessary.

Fantastic and informative book for newly diagnosed
I was diagnosed with hashimoto's a month ago. I had no idea what to expect or what to do. My doctor told me no gluten, no dairy, no soy, and no sugars. That was it. So I set off to research and find exactly what I needed. I came across this book and read a lot of the reviews and ordered it. This book is fantastic. It's like a hashimoto's 101. It goes through and tells you in very basic easy to understand terms what hashimoto's is what the thyroid does and how it affects your body. How your food affects your body. It goes into detail about why certain foods are good and helpful. And then it gives you a 3-week (21day) sample diet with the recipes. It's to help you eliminate the foods that are causing information in your body. I was really underwhelmed about changing my diet. But these recipes have great flavor and are very well balanced. The author is a dietitian and has hashimoto's themselves. Definitely recommend!

Very good recipes and great information
The information and recipes are great, especially for those of us starting the Hashimotos journey. The only issue is that, while I know all ovens vary, the times on these recipes are a little too off for my taste so be prepared for a longer cook time for some of the recipes. The flavor is fabulous so it’s worth the tweaking.

Really helpful to better understand your body’s needs
Overall, I found this book really helpful. I didn’t truly understand how certain foods were affecting me until I had a method of measurement like this. I have a couple gripes: the recipes feel uninspired - while a cabbage and shrimp stir fry is a healthy reset, scheduling it for lunch and dinner for 3 days in a row left me pretty unimpressed and extremely bloated and uncomfortable. I think the author could have done better to walk readers through the reintroduction phase. I found myself researching a lot of conflicted sources to understand the dos and dont’s. I would however recommend this book to anyone who is struggling to manage their hashimotos symptoms. I’m so much more mindful about what I consume and feel so much better when I treat my body to the foods that nourish it.

Love it
I love this book! I wish it was a bit longer. These recipes were simple yet delicious. I'm a bit of a beginner in the kitchen and this has helped me learn and enjoy cooking. I love at the beginning of each week it gives you a grocery list for everything you'll need. I was noticing I was using all of my ingredients and not wasting food. Even my family enjoyed some these recipes.

Good info, divisive recipes
Loved the book as an informative jumping off point with hashimotos. I’d say 60% of the recipes are good. HOWEVER, if you do not like curry, you’re really not going to do well with these recipes. That being said, the diet is effective and easy to follow. I felt SO much better and in my opinion, my moderate dislike of curry could be overlooked, for my husband, it was a no-go.

Doable
I jumped right to the food plan and recipes. This way of eating isn't that new to me. I've been off track and was looking for a plan to follow with shopping lists, menus, and recipes. Looks doable for someone that really doesn't cook complicated meals.

Wow! Easy and tasty recipes and easy to follow directions
I'm recently diagnosed with Hashimoto's and knew I needed to learn to eat better. I'm not a cook and dreaded making new receipts but knew I had to try. To my surprise, the recipes are tasty, easy to make, and full of delicious veggies! I'm happy I bought this book and recommend it to anyone with Hashimoto's who wants to improve their diet. I do recommend you give yourself at least a week to get your kitchen, pantry, and food ready.
