![Annabelle: Creation [Blu-ray + Digital Download] [2017] [Region Free]](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91BZIayxTKL.jpg)

Supernatural horror prequel centred on a haunted doll. After the death of their young daughter, doll maker Samuel Mullins (Anthony LaPaglia) and his wife Esther (Miranda Otto) invite a group of orphans and nun Sister Charlotte (Stephanie Sigman) to stay in their farmhouse after their own orphanage closes down. However, it soon transpires that the couple have welcomed the young girls to atone for inadvertently inviting a demon into their home, after mistaking it for the spirit of their daughter Annabelle. Now occupying one of Samuel's dolls the spirit proceeds to terrorise the girls as it tries to claim their souls. Review: Super scary ! - A great movie! Review: Awesome movie - - !! - Very nice storyline - the young girl actors all do an amazing job. Origins of the creepy doll are revealed which is done very nicely. Lots of jump scares - to be expected. Will keep & add the my horror collection and watch annually. Highly recommend.

Awesome Origin Story
After thinking Annabelle was sort of a snooze fest, I was on the fence about Annabelle Creation, but I'm so glad I gave it a chance. THIS was the prequel I wanted to see. The back story was incredibly well done. The performances from both the adult cast and the kids were all top notch. There are also some really great scares and the story makes sense which was the most important thing for me. I've always wanted to know where that freaking doll came from and if you've been wondering too, this is the movie that gives you the answer. Lots of great practical effects were used and when the movie showed digital demons and whatnot they had a real impact. I wasn't sure how they were going to tie this movie to the "first prequel" but they did a brilliant job if it. The whole thing made a ton of sense, and I actually wish I had seen this before Annabelle because I feel now I would have appreciated that film more. Great movie just in time for Halloween.

A very nice prequel!
The addition of this to the lineup is great! The movie is scary in the right way and as an origin story, it's stellar!

Who leaves a demonic possessed doll locked inside their house?
Who leaves a demonic possessed doll locked inside their house, and think that bringing orphan girls over their house is a great idea? Things like this that happen in the movie always makes me scratch my head and think to myself, "Who the hell does that". I pondered that thought throughout many moments of the movie because it felt like the characters were not behaving like real people, but they were behaving in a ridiculous way because the writers were so focused on trying to scary/creepy moments that they wrote characters that didn't use common sense. NOBODY IN THE MOVIE THOUGHT TO DESTROY THE DOLL? Or burn it, or at least run out the house when they started to see maximum poltergeist activity. Almost every girl in the movie saw something extremely abnormal in the beginning of the movie, but they were too scared to mention it to anyone else? The movie was okay, but the thing I hate about horror movies like this is that the writers make the characters seem so dumb that it's hard for me to believe a person would do that in the situation. It sort of takes me out of the movie when the characters decisions don't seem rational or realistic

All the reason why “life sized” Dolls are Creepy!
*This movie was perfectly written and directed...that I must give a formal (Recognition of Excellence) to all Producers and Writers involved in this production…Job well done guys! Warning: may not be suitable for small kids under 10 years of age, so parents be “warned.” The Premise: This movie explains the (who, what, where, why and when) Annabelle came into existence. The story is sad, scary and creepy. This movie is “damn” good and WILL scare the “HELL” out of you. It give movies like: “Drag me to Hell” and the original “Exorcist” two black eyes and a bloody noise…it’s really that good! My thoughts: I was caught off guard by the intensity of this movie. It gets into your subconscious and burns into the psyche of your mind. It’s so realistic and graphic that it will scare you to death. There is blood, gore and carnage. This movie is ALL the reason why I don’t like “life-sized” Dolls…very creepy indeed! Overall, excellent character development, and a great story that truly answers all questions and ties up all lose ends. Excellent acting by all actors, excellent movie props, and movie sets, make-up, period attire and accessories down to the finest detail. *Recommend purchase of Blu-ray or online rental streaming. Blu-ray is always the better quality. When you stream, the quality is slightly diminished and is compressed…facts! The Facts: 1. Running Time: 1 hr. 49 min. 2. Widescreen HD. 3. Sound 5.1 DTS-HD (Excellent sound quality). 4. State of the Art high quality CGI effects. 5. Beautiful cinematography. 6. A sad and scary story, kind of predictable, but easy to follow. 7. No dry areas at ALL…keeps you concerned or worried. 8. There is blood, gore and carnage. 9. Excellent character development. 10. Excellent Friday Night Horror, Halloween or Weekend Movie. 11. Not suitable for viewing by small kids under 10. Thank you!
