Legacy of the Inventor: A Timmi Tobbson Adventure (Solve-Them-Yourself Mysteries Book for Boys and Girls 8-12)

My kiddo enjoys reading, however, this is one of the only books we have found where we have to remind her to stop reading to go to bed. She always asks for one more chapter. The clever little puzzles at the end of each chapter break up the reading and give kids a fun task. They feel like they are part of the mystery. Great fun. I'm looking forward to more from this author.

I bought the first book in the series on a suggestion from Amazon and my son loved it. I knew I wanted to order the second book. It's just as good as the first. It spurred on curiosity in my son and got him excited to read. We can't wait for more to come! Check out the secret puzzle in the Fun Facts section to get a surprise.

We have just received this in the mail, so I’ll come back and update when we’ve completed it. I like to stretch this out doing one page a day with my kids (11, 10, & 5), but I couldn’t wait that long to write a review :) . We love Timmi and all the adventures we had in the last book, so we’re excited to jump into new adventures with this one.

My 8 year old son LOVES this series. He read the first book over the summer and couldn’t wait for this one to come out. He read it cover to cover the day it arrived! He loves these types of mystery books. They have pictures that give you clues to help solve the mystery, and there’s even a secret code hidden within each picture. He highly recommends this book and hope the author continues to write more in this series!

Per our daughter, "The adventure is cool. The clues are hard, but fun to solve." We are thoroughly enjoying this series and can't wait to continue adventures with the characters in the next book. The attached website includes additional mysteries that keep us engaged. Great concept for our young reader.

The books in this series are fantastic! My 8 year old is in love with them. The logic puzzles are challenging enough that it’s fun for him and they break the story up nicely for kids who don’t have the longest attention span. I can’t wait for more to be released. Wish they were available on Amazon.ca.

Reading this with a 10, 9, and 7 year old, who alll love the clues and problems. Lots of fun.

This book series is fantastic. The illustrations with clues are really detailed and challenging - I read it with my 7yo, and we both love it. We hope there will be more books soon - way more fun than any other kids mystery series!!!
