Excellent product.
This barrier is very strong, will not tear. Just finished putting it inside my 16 foot metal garage door. The garage door faces west so it gets the full blazing sun in the afternoon here in Sarasota County, Florida. The door would get super hot and radiate tons of heat into the garage turning it into an oven but now this product stops what seems like 90% of that heat. Just be sure to leave an air gap between the radiant barrier and the door surface.

Worked for what I needed.
I purchased this for use in a remodeling project for my master bathroom. I figured since I was tearing the floor down to the subfloor why not add a radiant barrier since it will be very easy to do with everything exposed. I'm not sure how much it will help. Since it's inexpensive enough and super easy to put in right now I figured even if it helps a little it was worth it. I plan to install in-floor heat in the future I'll already have the radiant barrier ready to go. I had no problems with the material tearing. It has a ripstop mesh weaved into it. Plus, I still have about 190 square feet left for other projects!

It's what I expected.
As advertised. TBD if it offers much insulation benefits.

Helps reduce the heat in the attic in the summer
used this as a radiant barrier in my attic. It's hard to know how much it helps exactly, but there is a noticeable difference in the temp under the barrier vs off to the side of it. I think it's about 10 deg cooler.

Garage is much cooler already.
Measured the length (width) and height of each section of my garage door. Cut material to size and used double-sided tape to stick material to the garage door. Not impressed with the heavy-duty double-sided tape sticking to the material and/or garage door. However, I did find silicone spread on the garage door seems to be working better so far. With silicone, I'm not seeing the material peeling off the garage door sections. Will have to report back on this too. I did try using air stapler w/ low PSI, but that was not a working option. Temperature is NOTICEABLY cooler in my central Florida garage. I'm thinking it will reduce 10-20 degrees in the summer time. I will have to take a measurement some day and report back. Also, material is MUCH more sturdy than I expected. This is not going to rip on you while you're attaching it to the door. You would have to cut it first before you could simply rip it I think. With so much material in the box, I would have LOVED to double each strip up, sew them together, and then mount a double layered strip to the door. This is a good buy and I'm recommending you pull the trigger and get it done. I think you'll be very pleased with the results!

Not aluminum. Fake plastic material
This stuff measured over 2 million ohms resistance per linear inch with a multi-meter. The real aluminum stuff measures 0.2 ohms per linear inch. Buy the real aluminum stuff!

all seem to be perfect for my application
I'm using this product to assist with heat reflection more than anything. Will have to wait for the warmer weather to know if it is effective. Value, quality, ease of installation etc. all seem to be perfect for my application.

Cheap radiant barrier
Its a cheap radiant barrier. It will tear so plan on using alot of plastic top nails to hold it down while you work on it.Spend the extra $ and get a much better product from roofing foil.com

Very durable during installation. Thick enough that it did not rip while stapling it into place. Not a single tear-through on any of the staples. Would definitely buy again.

Je le recommande.

It is way dinner than expected, though it is tough.not an insulation.but a good draft stopper.for it to be an insulation it would need Styrofoam behind it. It frosts up in the cold.
