Good power and not too heavy
The battery has enough energy to mow for 30 minutes with a 52cm self propelled mower. It will also saw 400kg of tree ready for splitting. Certainly doesn't disappoint. I have replaced all of the petrol tools I had with battery. No regrets. This works better, more reliable same power. No faff with petrol.

Robust and powerful, a good replacement for petrol power
Quite expensive but I got a good trade-in on my old mower. After watching loads of lawn mower reviews and ChatGPT thoughts, I plumped for this EGo. I also bought the mulching kit (£43.99), not used yet. Check to make sure the next mower up in EGo's range (which comes with mulching), isn't similar price of this mower plus kit.In use the mower is excellent, speed variable from zero to faster than I can mow and with a lot of power to get through very long grass. Adjustments for user height is easy, as is folding the handle for storage. I'd have preferred a lower cut but after three sessions my lawn is looking pretty darned good as the lawn has adjusted to the mower. It doesn't have a roller (available at cost) but still leaves roller-type stripes. In use the mower is quite heavy at just under 30kg, which is 10+kg less than the Haytor 41 it replaced. The battery could easily handle 500sqm of lawn and recharging using the slow recharger supplied is rapid.Today I swapped the blade supplied with the mower, for the mulching blade. I was surprised to see a few nicks in the cutting edge already. Easy to smooth with an angle grinder or similar and far easier than dealing with a petrol mower.

Dead after 2 uses
The battery died and won’t charge after 2 uses.

Not a faulty battery
After ordering the battery EGO suggested I carry a check on the battery after doing the checks they said my battery was not faulty. The supplier was very helpful and agreed to cancel my order.

The battery was more than sufficient for a large lawn 200' x 30'. Very pleased.
