I bought this after a co-worker had bought one to gift to her friend. I thought this was much better than buyer butane lighters all the time to light my candles. Love that it can bend to get to the wick after it's burnt down some. Charges decently quick. If you are looking for a great gift this certainly won't disappoint!

I love this thing to be honest. I'm a guy and get easily excited about things like this, but a few weeks into it I've actually ordered two of them for friends (one that's always grilling and one that loves candles) and they both love theirs as well. One piece of advice that I've noticed is that it's more important to clear the dead parts of candle wicks with these guys and burn at the very tip then they work like a charm and very quickly. Charges wicked fast too so thankfully it's not much of a concern battery life wise.

We have really enjoyed having this. It took a little bit to adjust to it. Like when lighting candles you have to do light them a little differently but now I use it for everything candles, the barbecue, the grill , campfire, etc. I have charged it once since getting it but only because it was left on. I think that this was a wise purchase as I won't be having to order multiple lighters through out the summer!

I Use this for candles. I like that I don’t have to worry about refilling with lighter fluid. Pretty easy to use. However the battery life is super low-I have to recharge after lighting 5-6 candles. Luckily it charges up very fast. But don’t think about using this anywhere that doesn’t have easy access to a plug.

I like candles but have not used them too often because I hate lighting matches. This device is so easy and convenient to use, especially for candles in jars because the neck bends. I've only used it half a dozen times since I bought it so I don't yet know how long the battery will last.

Love, love LOVE this thing. I purchased it to light candles, but my husband snagged it to light our grill. I had to fight to get it back! I love that I can just plug it into the charger and then I'm good to go for awhile! It charges really quickly. I appreciate the flexible neck.

I needed a lighter for lighting my candles when they get low in the jar. This charging lighter is great for the job. Comes with its own charging cord and charges quite fast. Has a 360 swivel neck and makes getting into tight jars more easily.

I charged this lighter up the minute I received it because I was so excited to us it. I charged it for about 3 hours and then went to use it and it literally won't spark or anything. All 5 lights are lit meaning it has a full charge. I pushed the black safety up meaning it should light, pressed the power button and absolutely nothing. I've put it back on the charger hoping extra charging time would help, held the power button down rather than just pressing it once hoping it would light, put the safety on and then back off again, adjusted the neck thinking maybe the wiring or something was off, and still NOTHING. Worst $16 spent ever.
