With an active One and Three year old in the house, these were the perfect solution to my littles shutting each other into rooms! It fits over the top hinge of the door, with the heart between the door and the frame, and then the door cannot be shut. It keeps the door open better than any doorstop we have tried in the past. My three year old has figured out that if he tries to shut the door enough times, the plastic stopper on the under side will fall out. He's turned it into a game though, he pops it off and brings the piece to one of us. It works fine without the piece, but it is what makes sure the foam heart stays on, so we keep putting it back. On their bedroom doors, we use this as well as a pinch guard (foam u-shaped thing that goes around the edge of the door to prevent pinched fingers), but the pinch guard is only used as back up in case the kids manage to knock this out.

These door stoppers completely took the hinges off my doors on two of my doors. Worst product I have ever purchased and I regret buying them so much. Now I have to fix two door hinges that are completely out of the door.

I bought this for a door that has a top and bottom section that open up individually. It worked for the intended top section just wish it was a little harder to that it did not squish so easy. Still it works as described.

These are the cutest door stoppers I have seen. I bought multiple packs and have them all over my house to keep the doors from slamming shut on our pups. When they are not in use in the doors, I keep them in decorative bowls, like they are candy (they are big--about the size of the palm of your hand--so they won't be mistaken for candy, they are just cute enough to have out in bowls). The foam is sturdy enough to hold the doors very well, but gives enough to not feel like you are hurting your doors when you forget they are there. We still don't have enough for every door in the house, so I will probably buy more!

They don't fit on any doors, waste of money, directions in Chinese. Not that you need directions, door won't close when they are in and the door still bangs on the wall which was the reason I purchased.

These work well for me and have kept doors from pinching my son's fingers when he plays with the doors. The reason for the three stars is that I noticed that my son had something in his mouth while playing in his Playroom and after fetching it, it took me several minutes to figure out what it could possibly be. It ended up being the plastic disc on the flat side of the foam heart. It must have popped out when he was attempting to close the door, putting pressure on the guard and forcing the disc out. This is definitely a safety hazard as it is a small piece of plastic. I switched that one out for one of the others and it hasn't happened again but I am constantly on the lookout.

These are perfect. I have several doors that swing shut when it is windy. These safety hinges work exactly as described and they are cute too. I definitely recommend this product for people who have a large gap between the floor and the bottom of the door, making a normal doorstop unworkable. I also recommend for people who like cute, Japanese household items.
