I needed an analog phone for emergency use if my cell phone would fail to work. My Dad recently passed and had told me about Wind Phones. The phone has to be a rotary phone and when you use it for that purpose, NOT plugged in. You can say your goodbyes or other things you need to tell the person who passed. The phone is beautiful and fully operational in my spare bedroom. I will try using it as a Wind Phone in the future. I’m not ready yet.

This phone looks and works great, and I'm making sure to leave this review because I recieved excellent customer service on this order when I wrote to the manufacturer to explain an issue I was having with the rotary dialer getting stuck. After attempting to troubleshoot, a replacement was arranged due to manufacturer's warranty. I couldn't be more pleased with the model that arrived today in just a few days; like I said it looks and works great. Can't wait to day trade on this thing. Buy! Sell!

My 91 year old mother just loves it and can use it easily. UPDATE: This phone was purchased in June and has already stopped working!! Pretty disappointed!

Updated! Phone was causing a short in our internet connection. It was causing our internet to go out, 5 to 10 times a day… or more. I might try a new cord; but the short disappeared when we unplugged the phone. We were working with the cable guy, as we systematically unplugged all the thibgs Cute, Fun and Perfect For My Needs… Mostly. I will probably invest in some longer cords. The cord that plugs into the wall, is a disappointment for the cost of the phone. The phone is lighter weight, than the original. The Cord is skimpy and is more of something I would have found on a $20.00 phone. THe cord on the handset is the perfect length for sitting at a desk; but not for laying on the bed. I might look for some longer cords. The phone has a cute little ring, that sounds more like an old alarm clock. The hands free was not easy to figure out, without the instructions. The speaker is good enough to use for the hands free option. That helps to make up for the short cords. I almost forgot what it was like to dial a rotary phone. I must say, I do not remember phone numbers that I dial all the time, on my cell phone. I like having a land line, and I love having a landline that I can use, when the power goes out. This is a fun phone; and It goes well in my office. I am mostly happy with it.

I am very pleased with my purchase

got obi with google voip, when i connected it to this phone the sound quality was terrible. Connected my obi to the other phone i got and had no problem. Obi does not work well with all corded phones according to their website. Sadly I'll have to return it, my girlfriend is emotionally devastated.

I bought this for my grandma as a gift and it worked well surprisingly. The sound quality is great and it has the old vintage ringing when someone calls. The one downside we’re the instructions. I never understood what they were saying, but I don’t blame them. It’s hard to describe how to use this to someone in the younger generation like me. Basically, you have to hit the metal part back for each number you’re trying to register. In conclusion, it works great.

Heavy and pretty but something was wrong I haven't used it yet
