Works Well But Must Use Distilled Water (for your health)
This unit can really pump out the moisture. It recommends using distilled water. While it will humidify with hard water, it also put the minerals in the air, leaving a fine dust around it. Worse yet, you could be inhaling that dust. So do use distilled water. The only downside is not being able to turn of the blue light. But there are ways around that.

Excellent in all respects except one.
This product does a great job. It is highly effective at humidifying. It runs quietly. It is easy to operate. But, it’s impossible to refill the tank without spilling some water on the floor at the back of the humidifier. I put a shallow pan under the humidifier so as not to get my broadloom soaked; a solution, though not an elegant one.

Warm or cold mist humidifier
The humidifier is quiet and puts out plenty of mist. I’ve only used distilled water and when I fill before bedtime it’s still running when I wake up. My husband likes that it can run either warm or cold mist and we can set how much steam comes out. I just wish it was a top fill.

Two strikes don’t buy
I wanted to like this one. Seemed like a good one. The percentage isn’t exactly accurate but otherwise I liked this one. However after about a month it stated leaking and then stopped working. The company replaced it. The same thing happened with the next one after 6 weeks.

Good humidification of large living space.
We use this humidifier in a home where our principal heat comes from a wood-burning stove, which dries out the air. This humidifier is good for replacing the humidity in a large space. I like the mist it emits. The manual says to use distilled water, but the device uses more than a gallon of water per day. At $1 per gallon, that expensive to operate, so I’m taking a chance using tap (well) water.

Not Easy to fill and a bit confused - Distilled or Tap Water?
This is my first experience with a humidifier and chose this one because of the high ratings. Now that I have used it I realize that "Top Fill" humidifiers would be much more convenient. This one is bottom fill, so pulling the tank out causes water to drip and spill out of the base and it makes it difficult to keep it filled as the water is used up. Also, the Amazon description says you can use Distilled or Tap water, but all the instructions say to use Distilled only. Which is it?? Overall, it works well but I would make a different choice now that I know better.

Lots of good stuff
The media could not be loaded. Wow I didn't expect this humidifier to work so well! Just look at our video.I have three other humidifiers (a different brand) for smaller rooms in our home. We purchased this one for a large room, and Consumer Reports magazine recommended this unit as their top pick for large rooms. Unlike the other three, we can actually SEE the mist coming out of this unit, and it works SO much better than the other three. Some observations, pro and con:- Easiest of our 4 humidifiers to refill with water- No filter needed and GREAT mist output (see attached video & pic)- Automatic on/off humidity settings or continuously on- I was expecting to place it on the floor but it recommends to have it 2 feet above floor- 1.3 gallon tank lasts about 2 days for us if set at 45% humidity on medium fan (low-medium-high)- They recommend distilled water, but we're using tap water, which is allowable but will require more tedious cleaning at some point- Warm vs cool mist settings, although the so-called "warm" is barely discernible- 360 degree dual spinning nozzle to aim the mist in 2 different directions- AMAZINGLY quiet. Two thumbs up! We might actually get another one and retire one of the others that we have that is too noisy and not as effective.

Humidity Control-Fail Refill without major drips everywhere-Fail Lights off to Sleep-Fail
Looks nice and sleek, ends there. Arrived with faulty humidistat, many others have mentioned this as well, they are correct. Refilling is a pain, and I'm not lazy. Gets water everywhere, big splashy drips, plus this giant screwed on lid must be removed to fill. Odd shaped container to fill as well. Fine for tub or kitchen sink, terrible to try and fill in bathroom sink. Quiet as he!!, but Blue light on night. there is NO WAY TO TURN OFF LIGHT COMPLETELY.If you purchase this enjoy your drippy blue nightlight, complete with your room registering 93% humidity as your chapped lips and flaky skin fall off your dried out beef jerky body.
