Mastering the Instant Vortex Plus: A Practical Guide to the 7-in-1 Air Fryer and All Its Functions

This should be included with the purchase of the Vortex Plus 7 in 1. There were so many things I wanted to try but did not know the first thing about how to use this air fryer plus. This is the perfect book for beginners. It includes lots of tips on how to use my Vortex in lots of ways. A few recipes but mostly an instruction booklet that REALLY teaches a person how to use this appliance. I am learning how to use my Air Fryer Vortex Plus to its fullest. Great for cooking a meal for one too. A must buy for anyone new to the Vortex Plus!

The instructions that were included in the box and online were not helpful to learn all the functions and how to use this appliance. There has been comments about how this book is written to a grade shool level reader but I. liked it because it repeated points that need to be repeated. If you are a speaker or have given demonstrations to a crowd, you know that you need to repeat important things 3-4 times to aid in the remembering of the listener. Reading is the same. I also like that I can look up the. section about roasting potatoes and have all the instructions for that one item in one place. I hate it when I forget some instructions that was given earlier and have to go look for that instruction or point.Another complaint was that there wasn't recipes. That isn't true. I learned how to reheat, air fry, roast, broil, cook and etc. for french fries, roast potatoes, cook chicken, prime rib or steak, and other recipes. And if I forget something all I have to do is go to that specific chapter/point in the book to find the instructions. Which is nice and unlike other instruction cookbook where you have the recipes in one section and how to cook in a different section that sometimes leads you to flipping between the two.I found this extremely helpful. It didn't cost that much and I found it extremely helpful. It did suggest places where I can find pans that fit the oven and also a few tricks that I have not learned from any online groups. Those tips are probably located in the different online groups but difficult to locate. LOL. This was a good tool and don't think it deserved all the bad reviews that it received.I would recommend this book to any new beginner who has not cooked or been exposed at all to air frying. It would save a lot of future problems that can occur if you just start cooking and learn from mistakes made.This is a simple to understand book on how to use the Vortex Plus. I have the Pro version which has two additional function, I think, and wish these had been included or be included on any new release.

Although this guide is clearly written, the title was misleading. I have the Instant Vortex Plus 6-in-1 Air Fryer. This guide is for the 7-in-1 Air Fryer which includes the rotisserie setting & components. Yes, my fault for not noticing the subtitle, but there are subtle differences in the two fryers. The touch panels are a little different and all references to rotisserie are not applicable. You can still follow the guide for basic operation of the appliance. FYI - This author has a good YouTube video on the Instant Vortex Plus.

It didn't take rocket science to figure out how to use the Instant Vortex Plus machine. But if you are stumped this cookbook will teach you. I returned it and bought America's Test Kitchen air fryer cookbook. It hasn't arrived yet, but will write my review as soon as it does.

I bought two books when I bought this air fryer. Neither one gave any instructions or tips on how to use the different functions. Finally, this book does that. I highly recommend it.

The concept of the Instant Vortex Plus 10 quart air fryer is good; it is the execution that lacks. Pros: all the functions work and the food cooks well, (I have not used it for baking yet); it is a compact size and fits on my counter or in my large cupboard; the settings and programs are pretty intuitive. Cons: the spit accessory as well as the rotisserie basket are so poorly designed that they are just an accidental waiting to happen. Here’s the scoop - the forks are very hard to slip onto the spit rod, keeping in mind one has a piece of meat or poultry skewered on it, and then, after one has stuck them into the food, two little screws have to be twisted through holes in the forks into small divots on each end of the rod to hold the forks in place. If all this works for you, then when the food is cooked, good and hot and juicy, the little screws have to be removed, have a screwdriver handy. There must be a better way.As for the rotisserie basket, the removable lid on one end does not lock firmly and can fall off, allowing the food to roll out. The red lever (which would be safer moving to the left instead of the right) that allows the basket to drop into the indents that hold it in place, does not retract far enough so one has to wiggle and shove the basket in. Don’t preheat the oven and have to do this. Even with using the rotisserie lift gadget it’s tricky. Then retrieving the hot basket with the lift is another exercise in agility.Upshot is, I’m keeping it because it was expensive and does work as an air fryer but I wish I had bought the 6 quart basket style. There are so many more recipes for that style and cooking a rotisserie chicken is not worth the hassle and the expense, that is if one can even find a chicken under 4 lbs. Along with all of that, the appliance has a smell that took a month to fully dissipate. Sorry Instant Brands, your marketing is great, product development not so much.

This is the book I use, as a beginner, to figure out just how to use my airfryer, on things I have at home. The best beginner book with some recipes too and some illustrations in black & white. Very glad I found this particular book!

Very happy with it's operation

I received this Instant Pot Vortex Plus 7 in 1 oven for Christmas And love itAnd while the existing manuals are not great I was excited to find this bookI thought I'd experiment today and make "fresh french fries "Well I did everything the way the book explain and instead of "16 minutes" it took Well over "30 minutes " and were not very crispyDid not over fill the basketNot worth the moneyGuess I can't get a refund?????

In-depth understanding of the appluance

I was expecting more of a recipe book than an instruction manual, the book didn’t tell me much more than the instructions with the fryer it’s self.
